I called for questions, Brandon had such a positive and welcoming vibe. I asked if there was walk-ins and took my son in like an hour later. Oddly similar experience to the review before this one: I saw 2 people I grew up with in the photos, so I called a couple of times yesterday morning and didn't get an answer, so I went to the shop to see if it was open, and it wasn't, so I went home. Earlier this morning, I'm out running errands and I get a call from a number foreign to me, so I didn't answer. Got home and called the number back, and it was actually the shop. Brandon apologized for the missed calls, explained that he was off yesterday, and told me that he was at the shop if I still needed a cut. So I went and got a cut, and he did his stuff. Quick, professional, great at his craft and we know a few of the same people and went to, and, played ball at the same high school. For anyone saying he doesn't answer the phone, they're lying. He was off yesterday and his other barbers went in later in the day (explains the missed calls earlier in the day). He didn't miss a call my entire time there. When the convo wasn't about making an appointment, he told them he'd call back when he's done cutting ... I respect that. All in all, B is a good dude who runs his shop how a barbershop is supposed to be run. Good at cutting, good at line ups (didn't push my hairline back), and the price for the type of cut I get is reasonable. Bonus points for being open early too! I prefer getting things done in the mornings, so being able to get cut in the am is a huge plus for me. I'll definitely be back. read more

I tried to give this shop a chance yesterday, but the attempts failed. It says they open at 9am everywhere I looked, so around 10am I called without an answer, cool. Called again around 11, still no answer. I assumed they were busy cutting, and that's why no one answered the phone, so I drove to the shop around noon, got out of the car, and the door was locked. Not thinking, I assumed they stepped out to eat lunch, so I left and came back a bit after 1, and the door was still locked. I don't live close to this shop, so the time wasted calling, pulling up, leaving, then pulling back up with no success annoyed me. So why the 3-stars? It's math, 3 is the average. Seeing people I know and their kids in the pics - 5 stars Bc I've seen their fresh cuts in person on people I know - 5 stars for quality cuts Not being able to get in contact with the shop - 3 stars (should be 1, but stuff happens) Being closed while being advertised as open - 1 star Time traveling to and from the shop bc it's listed as open but was really closed - 1 star Life happens, but it seems like y'all not really open as early as y'all say, and if that's the case, change the open time to a time when someone's usually in the shop. My old barber upped his prices so much that he's no longer affordable for me (not your problem, I know). I see people I know in your pics, so you were the easy choice as my potential new shop, but I can't get in contact with y'all. I had to do my interview today looking rough. Not y'all fault, but it still sucks. I heard good things about "B" and "Ced" but I need a cut asap, and I'm not about to have another day like yesterday, so back to searching. read more

I initially had a hood experience with Cave Man Buzz. My barber was named Lupita, she was professional, detail oriented and took her time. Today I messaged the barber but they never answered. So finally after waiting, I called only to be informed by another barber that she only works weekends and Mondays. I called in around 4:10-4:15pm today to see if they took walk-ins. Antonio picked up the phone from Cave Man Buzz and said they do take in walk-ins and would wait for me when I mentioned I would go in. I got there earlier than I thought and he took me right away. After having an awesome conversation with him I came to find out he's also a Dallas Cowboys fan. This made my first visit a whole lot better. All said and done Antonio did an awesome job with my fade and lineup. Definitely recommend this place 100% and will absolutely be back again for some more conversations/cuts with Antonio. read more

Haven't really been here since they were P-Wee's and I was excited to see that the reviews have been so good for them. I called and they said they had no waiting time so I rushed right over. That's where my excitement stops. The guy I talked on the phone sent me to a female barber. I showed her the picture, told her not to make it to short, and then she said she would ask about the top later. She just kept skinning the top of my head like I was a pig getting ready to be cooked for a Filipino birthday party, completely not going with what I asked. And she put no effort into trimming the top. Guess she was too busy talking to the other barbers and dancing along with the music to actually care about my hair. My lame ass didn't even stand my ground hard enough for me not to tip. But if I could I would get those $15 and two hours back. Now I feel so self-conscious and worried about myself. This is my nieghbor hood barber go to. My main is too far at times and I am happy to have found a great barber here! I have Lupe do my clean up and she also does my trim on top. She textures my hair ( being I have alot of hair) and styles. Alright, so I've never been to a barber shop ever in my life. I walk in here with no plan of attack. With a confused expression on my face, I asked for my hair to be cut short but not too short. My hair was almost shaved off. So, it was definitely shorter than I wanted it to be. But you know what, the people there were really nice and it feels nice when people cut my hair. He went with my natural hair line instead of trying to square me up in the front. Which looks super super ghetto once it starts growing out and you don't fix it constantly. **WARNING!!** This is a "Business" will let people they know cut in front of people who already have appointments! Fucking pissed.... This was going to be my first time going here. Made as appointment early at 10 am, and then I get a phone call back, if I can take my appointment with another lady, and she says she only has 11 am available. I tell her I am busy and asked if they had a 10 am spot,can I hear in the background her asking the owner and he says he can do it. I go in 10 minutes early and he is finishing up someone and I ask if he only takes cash. He says yes so I go to the ATM in next door and pay the fee to get cash out of the atm instead of going to my bank. I go back in and he's cutting this kids hair that had no appointment. He started cutting this kids hair 5 minutes before my appointment at 10 am. So I'm like ok it will be a quick one, and just wait it out. 10 am comes around and I ask him if he's my barber and he says yes, I ask him if he's going to be much longer and he offers me a different time slot instead...... after I told them that I cannot do 11 am because I was busy before I even made this appointment. I left after waiting 20 minutes of waiting... This was my first impression here and I will not trust them again... What business does this?!? Not a legit one.... Steer clear away and don't waste your time! Reply to his response: Why would I go into a business already upset? I was upset because you don't say anything to me once my appointment time is up and 10 am rolls around. You don't say sorry or say anything to me, I have to ask you if you are my barber and if you are going to be taking longer. I Have to ask you! I brought my 3 year old twins here for a haircut. I was very pleased with Lupe. She was so patient with my kids especially my more challenging one who was screaming bloody murder when we first started and towards the end. Lupe was so patient and professional. I felt horrible that he was crying but she calmed him down and reassured me that it was ok, his crying didn't bother her. It was also really nice that the other barber offered to put on a movie for the kids. Even though I was mortified, everyone was really understanding.
