Dude that sits in the first chair is a joke! I Walk in and notice 3 ppl working and not one of them greets you... Awkwardly I Have to say what's up to finally get there attention. He then tells me they except walk ins but gotta wait outside... I'm guessing bc of covid???... which doesn't make sense when his mask was half way down with his nose sticking out but everyone has their own theory on "what's safe" ... After waiting about 20min on some dirty ass chairs I see his client clearly leaves and is done with his cut... I wait a bit and no one comes to grab me outside ...thinking he probably forgot about me I walk in and then he immediately tells me I gotta wait outside ... Again looking at him confused with his mask half off... he then throws this in asking me annoyed as if I did something to him "Did You signed in?".... Mind you, this is my first time here! Standing there feeling stupid bc Not him or any of the 2 other stylist never mentioned anything about signing I look around with no one else waiting! Just me! 12:30 pm on a Monday!.??? I've been going to Tony at this barber shop for about 8 years now. Im in the Military so it's difficult to find a barber that'll cut my hair in accordance to regulations. This place is the only spot I've ever gone to and will ever go to for as long as I live. Every barber there however has the ability to do very clean looking fades. From Robert, to his wife, to Tony, and Alex; they're wonderful very professional and skilled in their craft. They're very wonderful to speak with and family-oriented. As far as pricing, they only charge $17 where as surrounding barber shops will charge anywhere from $20-$45 depending on where you go. The place is cash only, so make sure you bring some prior to visiting. As far as customer service, I've honestly never been to a place that has treated me much like family. Even when I first started going there, I always felt welcomed and treated well. On one occasion, I remember telling Tony that I didn't have cash but I'd be willing to leave him my ID if he slows me to go to the ATM. He insisted he didn't need the ID and to take my time going to the ATM. This goes to show how honest and pleasant they are to deal with. If you're looking for a haircut in the area, look no further and go here. Again, every barber there does a wonderful job but be sure to give Tony a try as he has always been my favorite. To every barber here, thank you very much for always treating me like family and always welcoming me to your shop. They do not work by appointments so try to be there early if you do not want to wait. I personally like that since I never have the time to schedule appointments because of work. I take my son there. Once when he was 2 and he just turned 3 I took him again. First time Alex cut his hair. I was worried about my son sitting still and Alex was patient and did a great job so I decided to go back. The 2nd time there Alex had 2 people ahead of us so the guy next to him (idk his name he has a cool barber apron and tattoos) cut my sons hair and he was just as awesome I'll probably ask for him next time too. Very patient barbers very kind and welcoming. The first time I went I sat there I didn't know when it was my turn and he noticed I was waiting long and told me I'm next. I watched every barber and waited for the perfected work from the clippers in there hands, I eventually walked to get my hair cut and the guy in the far right corner was soo rude and tried to over charged me, so I just stuck with basic and still tipped and left nevertheless I felt I was racially discriminated against and on top of everything the hair cut completely broke my head out with bump!! It's an alright shop. Cheap chaircut but that's about it. Some of the guys can be a little rude. Watch out for the kids running around. Just a heads up, apparently, cussing is a big no no in this spot. If you're looking for a clean fade, this is not the spot. This barbershop is a good place if you need a simple haircut, but if you ask for something specific they don't know how to do it and fuck it up. The girl barber that work there is the shittiest one there managed to completely butcher the side of my haircut and cut my ear while doing so. Also, they will fuck your hairline up too, so do not ask for a line up. Prices are okay, but the wait time is long. Tried this place for the first time today based on the good reviews and price, and the place was overall nice; however, the haircut I received here did not live up to my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the lady in the back did a very good job on the sides and back of head (which is what I particularly worry about in a haircut). She took her time and was very detailed, which i was glad in noting to myself, until it came to doing the top of the head. I asked for a faux hawk style with a 1in length on top; what I got was practically 1in ALL AROUND the top. Theres no variation in length leading from the corners of my head to the center, which is what I expect a faux hawk to have at least. With this in mind, the hair on the corners of my head are nearly as dreadful since they just stick out now and give my head and hair a weird look. I should have been alarmed at a couple of signals I found. First, the way she was cutting the top of my hair. Trying to find a reputable barber who can do faux hawks well, I've felt many techniques being done on my hair, and sadly this is one of the worst turnouts that I've had (if it can even be called a faux hawk in the end). Her technique felt similar to the rest, but the results speak for themselves. Secondly, and probably the biggest one, is that there was no mirror in the back underneath the TV facing me so that I can check on the progress of my haircut. I had to trust her blindly with my hair, something that I won't take for granted now. Thankfully I accepted to have gel put into my hair since it made all the problematic areas stick out more noticeably. Overall my experience there was pleasant & clean, clientele was great, and service was superb. However, if the end result is a sub-par haircut, I don't see how these traits would make up for it. read more

They cut hair really well here but I have seen the whole shop full and two of the barbers will leave for lunch. I think that's bad service. They should realize we have been waiting an hour some times for a haircut. And you leave for 30 min. I love the way they cut hair here and if this problem is resolved it would be 5 stars from me. Sparse and basic shop in Carson Street that does basic men's cuts (as far as I could tell). I waited for about twenty minutes for a couple of guys getting their cuts, and as far as I saw they excelled in getting the basic cuts down. When my turn came up, the lady doing my hair was nice but to the point. A bit of a family affair, but the kid who just came from school didn't bother me any nor slowed her mom from cutting my hair. Maybe not for guys who want their hair styled beyond a few basic shear and scissor work, or guys who want an "experience" out of their visit to the barbers, but for a good, basic and quick haircut for cheap this place is good. read more

I have been cutting my hair since I can remember. I'm very happy to say I have found the place where I will be cutting my hair from now on. Very clean cuts first and foremost. The barbers are always friendly and fair. There is no cutting at this barbershop which is by far the most common problem and barber shops with appointments.
