Everything that I ordered (very close to a "one of everything please!) was available! We thought it was super cool that in addition to the classics, they also had Elotes and Vasos de Fruta (cut up fruit that can be seasoned with tajin and chamoy to your liking). The most popular taco for our group was the cabesa- if you like birria you'll appreciate the tender and juicy beef served in this taco. The tamales were well assembled with spicy and delicious pork inside, and the corn tortillas were fresh and perfectly grilled before being topped with your meat of choice. Service was friendly and fast; I overheard call in orders and they did a great job of handling those and a well-paced line at the truck. Today they rolled into my office parking lot with an oxtail special, a plate loaded with fall-apart oxtails, jerk rice, green beans, and cornbread. I added mac and cheese because a good carb plan requires commitment. Plastic utensils seemed like a bad match for oxtails, but these bones surrendered at the slightest nudge. The meat was rich and silky, full of flavor, and entirely too good for a desk lunch. The sides were no afterthought. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, the green beans properly seasoned, the jerk rice fragrant and bold though a few grains resisted the bite, and the cornbread leaned sweet, closer to cake than bread, in a way that felt like dessert was already built in. You could pass by this truck without a second glance, but you'd miss a meal that demands your attention. 4.5 out of 5 stars Soul food this good deserves a table, not a parking lot.

That set me back about $32. Took about 5-10 minutes to get the order, and paid. The turkey leg was the only thing that I "enjoyed". My wife didn't care for anything. Ribs and Chicken didn't hit the spot. Baked beans had cinnamon in it - I actually like that. Mac N Cheese was a total miss. The green beans had to be canned and the seasoning used was too salty for my taste. In addition - The meat portion was quite limited. King of BBQ is still on Blanding and 103rd, for now (NOT the green pineapple shack). There's also BBQ joints opposite sides of this place on Lane, and unfortunately I would prefer to go to one of those places over this one.

TreeMendous BBQ Express serves up a delicious mobile menu of lunch BBQ plates - sandwich, lunch and dinner portions. You can pick from Beef, Pork, Turkey, Robs and Chicken and a slew of sides - baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, Mac-n-cheese, and French fries. All sandwiches served with 1 side and drink. I chose the Chicken Feast BBQ Sandwich meal with Mac-n-cheese. The pulled chicken BBQ sandwich was very savory and perfectly cooked with a soft sesame seed bun. The Mac-n-cheese was tasty cheesy and definitely not "from the box." A couple things that were evident: food is quality and this is reflected in the meats that are smoked daily and the homemade sides.
