Large Blue Vanilla, Cherry, and Pina Colada shaved ice topped with condensed milk.

I heard about this place and I had to try it. I have been craving shaved ice since I moved here last year and this place did not disappoint. The flavors were refreshing but not too sweet and the shaved ice itself was perfectly fluffy. It reminds me of Island Snow, Waiola, and all the other great shaved ice places I would go to back in Hawaii. Not only that, but the staff was super friendly and happy to hear my thoughts. Couple that with a perfectly tucked away spot and nice open seating area, and this place is basically perfect. I always try to go here whenever I'm in St. Augustine.

There's always a good day to celebrate and bring yourself, friends, and family to experience this Ohana treat! Best shaved ice on the mainland where you'll find locals and StA guests alike treated first class by a family-owned, operated, local business!

We loved coming here for shave ice while on vacation in St. Augustine. We have had a lot of shave ice on different islands in Hawaii and Mr. Morgan's was as good or better than the ones on the islands. The Big as Your Face was tempting, but the small was a good size for the kids. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made our visits enjoyable. The kids all have their favorite flavors, but we usually always add ice cream and my daughter and I love condensed milk on top.

My first time here was was the day before, since we never been here I decided to order a small. OMG, the picture shows the small size honestly! It was super yummy and very refreshing. I ordered the Floridian dreamscicle and let me say, this is an awesome idea and yummy. I'm back again today and loving it!

SO good & refreshing. Will definitely be a regular here all summer!!! Shared a small but could've eaten it all by myself. Service was a little slow but i forgive them.

Had a fantastic experience at Mr Morgan's Shave Ice! We have been to Mojo Taco a heap of times and finally decided to try Mr Morgan's out - they share the same parking lot. The staff was amazing for taking the time to answer all my questions. We tried the Hawaiian Swallowtail ice cream coconut mango and passion fruit - it was delicious! Highly recommended!

The best shave ice in Florida! We love when they are at Marina Munch because of the great view of St. Augustine and the water!!

Good in the sun, good in the rain

The ice was exactly what I wanted, but the optional ice cream was flavorless, so I recommend skipping that. Excellent portion size.

We had the strawberry shortcake, which was huge (small size pictured), and good to the last bite.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

We got about halfway to where we were going and decided we weren't going to make it there and back on time. We crossed the street and turned around to head back to where we were parked. We walked up to Carnival Sweets and immediately noticed how absolutely charming the store looked. You went inside and it's such a quaint little store. We were immediately greeted by two men who were just the kindest. I purchased two honey bun cow tails for my children and then I ordered two hot chocolates and a strawberry lemonade. To receive your drinks, you go out the side door to the left, around the back. The hot chocolate with some of the most decadent that I have ever had. It was incredibly rich and very flavorful. The strawberry lemonade was also delicious. Between the cleanliness, the cutest decor, the kindest staff, and the delicious drinks, I wish I lived closer to come here more often. This is definitely an establishment that deserves your money and time.
