Still my go-to screen company after 8 years!…read more Since I'm off for the summer, I've had time to look around the house to find areas that need fixing. One of those areas are our window screens. Not sure if it's just aging of the house or if our cats scratched the screen but we had so many screens with rips and tears. Check out what a bird did to our window bathroom screen too (see video). Contacted J&J and was able to set up an in-home visit with Jason. We were able to walk around the house and figure out which screens could use some repair or replacement. For some of our windows, we opted to get screens with a sun shade. The screen seems to be thicker and blocks a lot of the sun that comes through those windows. On our follow-up install appointment, Jason (owner) showed up right on time and put in all of our screens promptly and professionally. Glad we now have screens in our windows that aren't such an eyesore. Will definitely hit up J&J in the future if we need more screens replaced! They have an easy drop-off process if you have frames that need re-screening. Happy we have an efficient company like this so close by!

Poor Communication - I had to chase them down to find out the status of the job…read more I reached out to the company about a couple windows that were not properly opening/closing. They told me it was a simple job they could easily do. Guy came out to "do the job" but actually just came out to look at the windows. He took parts with him and told me he would contact me in a day or two. When I didn't hear from him after three days I reached out and was told "I am still waiting on the parts" After a week I was finally told the parts were available. Tried to coordinate a day/time for installation but they would not commit to anything specific. Finally scheduled something a week out...and they showed up nearly three hours late. The job was finally done and the windows are now working as they should but I had to constantly follow up with them since they were never proactive in their communication. It's unfortunate that their communication was so poor, otherwise I would suggest them based on the quality of the work.

We submitted an online quote request for a window insert install in our solid, fiberglass exterior front door. We were contacted immediately by Regina and she scheduled a technician to come out shortly after. Kevin, our technician, was so helpful. He walked us through the different inserts and their privacy levels, explained the installation process, and was able to give me a great quote.
