Mike Paolini is a hard working and experienced real estate attorney…read more I highly recommend him anytime you are buying or selling a property and need someone that can both review the purchase contract (P&S) as well as be your closing attorney. He can also review the purchase contact and other documents (like condo docs) separately (for a fee) if he is not your closing attorney. If you are buying a place I don' t know why you wouldn't have the same lawyer do both, but I wanted to add it in just in case. I have used Mike twice for condo purchases. He reviewed all of my paperwork (condo docs, P&S, etc) as well as did the closings. He was very thorough with all of the documents and he made sure we got everything done on time. I always felt very comfortable with his recommendations as you can just tell he knows what he is doing, as he has been doing this for a long time. One thing that really impressed me was on one of the closing documents (the HUD), it listed his fee at a certain amount, which was an estimate by the lending bank. He took a look and said "no, my fee's not that high" and lowered it to what his fee was. I would have happily paid that higher amount and I wouldn't have known any better. He's an honest guy. It makes a difference. So, if you're buying or selling a place, go give Mike a call and have him be your attorney!

Despite the time difference and the complexity of my circumstance, Ms. Gorenberg took the time to speak with me on the phone, answered my questions and gave me some suggestions. I reviewed Bruce Weinstein, giving him only one star back in 2018. That review has mysteriously…read moredisappeared. Why? Mr. Weinstein charged me $650 for preparing my simple 2017 taxes. He also claimed a false deduction in my name, claiming that I had contributed $1000 to charity that I had not contributed and that I had not told him that I had contributed. I guess he thought I would be so impressed with his ingenuity in getting me a refund that I wouldn't complain about him lying in my name on my taxes, and charging me $650 for it. I don't cheat on my taxes so I complained. Weinstein gave me back my $650 payment after that complaint . That's why he earned the one star in my review. I made all this clear in my 2018 review. Every word of that review was true. I don't know why it has disappeared. I took my tax information to H&R Block after the fiasco with Weinstein. They charged me $250 for completing the same tax forms and I received the same refund as I would have gotten with Weinstein. He was definitely overcharging me and he knew it. He later wrote me a letter asking me to remove that 2018 review, based on his returning my $650. I did not remove the review and it remained on Yelp until recently. Who removed it and why? It was a totally accurate review.
