Tried to charge me for more items than I purchased and wouldn't honor a posted price. When I pointed out the incorrect price they processed a refund only to cancel it after I left. Be very careful and ask for an itemized receipt before paying if you are visiting the area. read more

The owner of the market adds nothing to our community. He makes no attempt to be a part of Cayucos. Not to mention the products he sells are often old and past the best by date and they never give money back when I've brought the items back in. This was the cleanest and most organized store. Every isle was perfectly stocked. Had everything we were looking for and it was close to our Airbnb. Soon as we walked in we were greeted and felt welcomed. Would definitely shop here on our next visit. read more

I'm in here daily, as it's really the only option in Cayucos. "Super Market" is really a stretch, it's basically a glorified 7-11. Kinda weird that there aren't price tags on most items. Friendly staff. But seriously, what's with that funky smell? The place reeks. They've opened a meat counter, which they advertise on a big banner outside as a "Carneceria". The owners are friendly, middle eastern folk. They probably don't know that "Carneceria" invokes images of fly covered mystery meat in Tijuana. Nice people, decent selection, gross smell. read more

Well-stocked store with very reasonably priced sand toys! Made our day a lot of fun, and it was a nice quick stop on the way to the shore.

Cayucos Super Market is not a supermarket like Vons or Albertsons. They are not a convenience store either. I would put them in a category between the two. We stopped by to pick up a few things before going to the beach. Found everything we needed. Prices are a bit higher than normal, but thankfully they are not priced at "highway robbery" prices either. They seem to carry all the basic necessities plus a whole lot more. Definitely the store to check out when you find yourself in the quaint town of Cayucos. read more

I am sure the state of this store and offering are a direct result of covid complications. The employee was nice but we ended up getting a few basics and having to go elsewhere as the current state of this store and it's selections is "gas station plus". Drinks are a plenty, but if you need groceries beyond drinks and dry goods you may end up having to go elsewhere. read more

The market has been improving slowly, but inexorably toward better than ever before. It's just taken some time. Kudos to the hard working owners trying to make it better. It looks like there will soon be a deli/meat counter again, bigger and better. The new produce section has the potential to vastly better than the previous. New freezers and refrigerators. I stopped here for baby formula, they don't except WIC first of all, the cashier was really rude and took off his mask each time he spoke. He wouldn't make friendly conversation and looked and sounded frustrated. I won't go back here again. It was dingy and empty. There was plenty of parking and it was dead. My family and I have been coming to Cayucos for over 30yrs every summer. This market has been there and was recently purchased and remodeled and it awesome! The owners are so nice and they keep it so clean. They even have beers I couldn't find anywhere else! Not even Albertsons. Cayucos supermarket is a sore thumb in this awesome community. Make the trip to Morro Bay. Seems like the new owners have done well by the looks, but besides the booze they have nothing. 3/4 times I went to buy a salad they were 3+ days expired. Bad service. Guy in charge tries to be your buddy when he's in a good mood/ not playing games on his phone. Card machine works about 60% of the time. Their Cayucos apparel is absolutely disgraceful.... read more

Cayucos Market has tacos in the parking lot on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Tacos are cooked on the spot, they are so delicious. All the fixings are very fresh. Buys the burritos, tacos, and quesadillas at this location. They have a seperate resaurant in Morro Bay, Tacos del Viejon, terrible tacos. Stick with the Mexican food at Cayucos Market. read more

The "Hakka Hakka" cashier backpedaled and offered me cash out of the register because I called him out. Everything in there is disgusting/smelly too. If there was less than zero stars I'd give it. We were disappointed with what we found - it's really a place to stock up on select packages foods (chips, cookies, etc) but the quality of the meat and produce were suspect. It appears that in the town of Cayucus doesn't require masks. Every place I've walked into doesn't require masks. I went into the Market and no one was wearing a mask, not even the employees. The family that bought this store is so friendly as well as all of their employees!!! They have done nothing but work on improving this little market for our town instead of tearing it down and putting something else up in its place to make millions. Dishonest store. There's a reason there are no prices on most of the stuff, it's so they can overcharge you. I had gone to this store in the past and repeatedly been overcharged from the shelf price and the employee apologized for the "mistake" then did it again the next day so I stopped going. When I saw it had been remodeled and new owners, I gave it another try. Nope, same dishonest tactics. It's a red flag that nothing has prices and they ask if you want your receipt. I asked for the price of hot sauce and bought some. Went back the next day to get some more for gifts and they overcharged me an extra dollar per bottle. It's not that much money but the principle. I don't support merchants that intentionally cheat their customers. I was wiling to overlook that the employee didn't bother to wear a mask despite county regulations requiring it, or the half empty shelves with poor selection, but dishonesty, nope. steer clear. read more
