After a magical night at Kooza, I was in the mood for some greasy food truck grub. Being so late, I drove down Bird and noticed the friendly, familiar lights of a truck. As I got closer I realized there were two French flags hanging from either side. Having just spent 2 hours being Bonjour'ed and Magnifique'd to my heart's content, I decided "why not" and pulled up along side the truck. I was immediately greeted by Kevin, who handed me a menu that has pictures of all their selections. Talk about variety! From dessert crepes laden with bananas, pineapple nutella, and chocolate, to more dinner friendly options like La Cubanna -ham and swiss- I was in a whirl over what to get. I ordered La Cubanna for my brother and a Texan for myself -ground beef, melted cheese and a fried egg. when they discovered they were out of eggs, they offered me other choices to top the beef with. I decided to go with the other chef, Gabriel's suggestion ( ground beef mixed with mushroom and tomato) and voila! the two chefs began simultaneously preparing my meal. As I stood there, I chatted with their other sidekick, Sabrina, and she told me how they already have a website and twitter ( @cazacrepes) and even take orders online. Color me impressed! The crepes were both finished at the same time, and it was amusing watching Kevin and Gabriel compete on who would be the one to best successfully transfer the crepe to the container in one quick motion. ( Gabriel won) Gabriel also prepared for me a delicious crepe bursting with bananas, strawberries and nutella, drizzled with caramel. The crepes stayed warm the whole 15 minute drive home, and they were delicious! Not greasy, or messy, and beautifully put together. The crepe was so big I couldnt finish it all. Or so I thought. I put it away and 10 minutes later popped it in the microwave ( yay for their microwave safe containers!) to finish it off. . I definitely can see myself returning for lunch or a night bite when I want to eat something good, then right after opt for something sinful from the same truck. I found the crepes to be fresh, just the right flavor, and just the right consistency (doughy enough, not dried out) - and I loved their filling options. And I tried the dulce de leche and bananas crepes and I could just order that over and over! I would order from them again to get my sweet tooth fix! read more

We checked out Caza Crepes at BTTR on Tuesday. I asked the crepe dude what his best crepe was. He said he would have to go with a #8 which was "LA DELICE" - Nutella with Strawberries and Bananas. However, I was looking for a savory option, so he suggested a Philly Cheese Steak. In retrospect I should have ordered a sweet crepe as it seems as this is this truck's specialty. There are 10 dessert crepes and only 5 entree crepes. There was not a long wait, and the staff were very friendly. The crepe however was kind of blah. I did not find it to be stuffed with a lot of meat, and the beef was kind of dry. There was also too much cheese whiz for the amount of meat in the crepe. It was not a particularly good value at $8. I have had a MUCH better savory crepe at the food court at Aventura Mall. All of the dessert crepes that everyone else around me had ordered looked much better aesthetically - swirls of chocolate, fresh fruit bulging out, covered in powdered sugar. Caza Crepes is my favorite truck because of their Nutella crepe (around $5). Ohhhhh my goodness. It is heavenly. The crepes are perfect here, and they have some really interesting options on the menu. They don't just offer dessert crepes either, so they're very versatile. I make a stop at Caza Crepes whenever I head out to BTTR. It doesn't hurt that the dude that always makes my crepe is completely adorable. Service is always with a smile. Crepes range from about $4-8, and come in so many different varieties. Can't wait to try them all. read more

The best!.. Great service and amazing food! The guys are increadibly friendly and always greet you with a smile. Just ask them and they'll help you figure out the perfect Crepe for your taste! I recommend stalking them on Twitter to always have access to their delish creations! My Best bud and I always try to stop in for a late night treat when they're in our area... They're really great about letting you know where they'll be in advance! Try the Nutella with Banana or the Mango with Cream cheese!! (I'm going for the Lemon one tonight.. We went for the cheesecake with strawberry crepe and it was total disaster. The strawberries were not fresh and had a lot of liquid, so we never tasted the cheesecake. What a waste of stomach space. I totally make a better crepe at home with packaged crepes from Publix, Nutella, and my fresh strawberries. read more

For dessert last night at Wynwood we hit up these guys. They were very friendly and the crepe was tasty. My only complaint was the price, $8 for a crepe with bananas & nutella was a little high considering the venue. read more

The crepes were simply amazing. One of the only places in Miami that doesn't overcook them. Had the banana flambe crepe and couldn't eat it fast enough. Definitely save room for them when you're tasting the other food trucks. read more
