Lots of carbs and minimal protein. Luckily the location is 20-30 min from restaurants in Guerneville, so if you don't like what they serve and didn't bring a cooler to pack your own food, you aren't too far from better food. Because the camp primarily serves a teenage audience, they have strict rules on when you can eat, when you can get seconds, and other rules that make sense for creating structure for kids but feel overly restrictive for adults used to making their own food and eating whenever you want. So, if you choose to book this as a group camp site for a retreat, be aware of these restrictions when you consider the (cheap) price. If you're just looking for a place to send your kid for summer camp, it is beautiful spot in the woods not far from SF.

What a wonderful experience! The setting is amazing; rustic cabins nestled in the redwoods, friendly and welcoming staff, great food, etc. What makes this camp unique is the fact that my daughter and I each had the choice of participating in up to four classes per day taught by amazing artists, musicians, dancers, and other performers, largely from the Bay Area. Classes included Capoeira, Photograpy, Brazilian Dance, Gourd Making, Environmental Art, East Coast Swing, Gospel Choir, Clowning, Yoga, and the list goes on and on. Each year the offerings are somewhat different, and everyone is welcome regardless of level or ability. While the camp is relatively structured, there is also ample opportunity for "down time". There are a variety of families who attend CPAFC, often returning year after year. We've signed up again this year and can't wait! I highly recommend CPAFC for any family who is looking for a camp experience with activities that both children and adults will love.

A few days later, I was admitted again and was diagnosed with gastritis (stomach ulcers). I was going through a tough experience, however being in the grass with my blanket and tapped into her music help me get through another tough experience. Thanks to my dear friend, Dr. Shirley Wang, who has supported me these past few days and introduced me to Ruti Celli and Intimate Cello. I am forever grateful for the comfort you've given me these past fews days and continue to listen and learn from your music. Thank you and God Bless :)
