After 35 years, I finally decided to get back into it. I wanted to a mobile unit in my F150. I needed help setting up the radio. The nearest CB shop was about 20 miles from home. I called the store and was there the next day. The owner was busy working on a radio but he dropped everything and tended to my needs. This was a Plus for sure. He gathered his fancy meters and we went to my truck. I didn't know what all those fancy buttons meant but he walked me through it, as he did his work. I can tell you, he new what he was doing. I was very impressed. As he completed his work, he said he could make my radio reach further down the road. He told me he would have to cut about an inch off the antenna and he did. With that being said we talked about mics. and bought another upgrade! A new mic. I am impressed with his expertise, service and sell. He has another customer for sure. Five star business. I was looking for a real CB shop to set up my van, not a Truck stop or Best Buy because they do not usually have anyone with any training or qualifications. This shop filled the bill, the owner had the necessary knowledge and was able to help me right away. It's a small shop but the work that they do in there is fantastic. A guy named Chance does some really good work on fixing the CB radios and the honesty is very high which is always a plus. It's very far out from where I reside but it well worth the drive for the work that he does. I recommend this small shop if you're wanting to bring that 20 CB back to life. read more
