Recently Vape City has made changes to their loyalty program. After being reassured from staff that the points would be transferred over and 4 visits into the shop over the last 3 months leaving my information each time to inquire about it, today I was finally able to get the staff to try to speak to whoever is over them at a corporate level and was told to shove it about my original point balance. The in store staff is great and this review is not meant towards them, their customer service is a 5/5, however the lack of follow up and general lack of care towards customer service on a corporate level is atrocious. The vape technician I worked with was able to remove that stubborn vape cartridge with a trick I will not disclose here ;-) He was very friendly and did not pressure me to buy any products, even though I wanted to. Walking in, the shop smelled like a perfect blend of tobacco, fruit and a slight hint of menthol. Nothing too strong or offensive odors. I was so surprised they were able to remove the cartridge with such ease so I'm bringing my two other Vapes that have just been sitting around in for a little tune up. I don't expect to pay too much for this (maybe $$ range). The prices seem reasonable and I wish I had brought in a little more money with me at the time so I could try some of the custom vape blends. I highly recommend checking it out if you're having some issues with a cart, or are in need of a new place for some custom juice. I ended up trying out a wide variety of flavors at their tasting station. They have tips so you can take it off and try as many flavors as you like before purchasing. They were having all kinds of specials the first day so I ended up getting another flavor too. The build out is very sleek. She talked to me about some of the disposables and introduced me to a new brand. The prices were right in line with other vape shops in the area. I ended up buying a LuffBar disposable vape. An hour later, I noticed that it wasn't turning off properly after a puff, and it was starting to get very hot. I went back to the store, and the employee was very understanding, and said it was slightly defective and offered me a new one. It's working much better. The jury is still out on LuffBar, but based on my experience, I can recommend Smokies for their great customer service. It's not easy for a new business to give out free units, but it's necessary these days to compete with other stores, as customer service is so important in this market.
