The home goods section was pretty sparse this time around, but I still managed to fill a cart with clothing to try on, so it wasn't a total bust. That said... today was rough. The store was absolutely freezing. The loading/processing doors were open for a long stretch while items were being brought in, and the constant blast of cold air made it really uncomfortable to shop. On top of that, it gets very noisy when they're processing donations back there, which makes browsing feel chaotic instead of relaxed. Pricing is also becoming harder to justify though that's honestly a Goodwill-wide issue at this point. It feels like the minimum price for most items now starts around $8, with sweatshirts hitting $10.99. That's not exactly the thrill-of-the-hunt pricing people come to thrift stores for. Overall, I'll still come back because I usually find something worthwhile here, but the temperature, noise level, and rising prices definitely took away from the experience today. A little more comfort (and a little less sticker shock) would go a long way.

I scored a like new pair of Fergielicious booties for $9.99 that would have easily retailed new for around $70 + Like other area Goodwill's the clothing is arranged by size and item, although not perfect by any means. Rows are close together (this store in general is a little small), and racks are packed tight. They did have a separate plus section which had a good number of items and was about the same size as ladies - that's a first. Shoes were scattered around the store on top of clothing racks and not in one designated area. Housewares are sorted by color and always a mess where ever you go. Linens and children's selections were lacking and very small, consisting of only a few grannie afghans and well worn sheets, blankets, and pillows. Luggage and larger items (bikes, smaller exercise equipment, golf clubs and the like) were piled on the floor by the ladies dresses. Dressing rooms were small but adequate. Only one employee was present at the time of my visit and was clearly overwhelmed by stuff. Stuff piled at the register to put on the racks or sort, as well as items left behind in the dressing rooms. Overall the entire store felt cramped and congested. Worth a visit if looking for better used shoes, vintage luggage, plus and reg size ladies. Skip if shopping other departments.

The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. The part was broken and my two week waiting period flushed.
