(Mon 11-7 Tues 9-5 Wed 11-7 Thu 11-7 Fri 9-5 Sat 9-3 Sun closed). When I called to book the appointment, the lady that answered was helpful in explaining what is included and how they work with benefits. They aren't able to submit paperwork for Manulife. But then again, the next place also had concerns with Manulife. Cost for an eye exam here is $109. The other place I called in LV was $135. The difference being that the other place used a optical imaging camera. KWEC is more old school and actually looks at your eyes. If there is concern, the doctor would recommend going to get the imaging done. I chose this as I did have the imaging done years ago and didn't think it was necessary at this time. The lower price worked better due to the amount covered for my benefits. I was able to book my appointment rather quickly. (within 2 days) which was nice. The lady at the front gave me an iPad to enter in basic information. She was very helpful and asked if there were any frames that she could show me etc.. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and answered any questions that I did have. His equipment was very clean and he used alcohol wipes to clean off his machines before using them on me. However, I did feel a bit rushed (compared to other appointments I've been to in Waterloo). After the colour drop tests, I asked about the test that does make your vision blurry and was told that they did not book enough time for me to have this test done and that I could return another time to have this test done. Which I then confirmed that it was included in the exam cost that I did pay for. I didn't really want to return for this other test and was a bit surprised that when I booked the appointment, it was booked without enough time to perform the full test. Nor was I told that when I booked or when I had showed up. Hence my reason for not giving a good review on here. (It's more a 2.5*) He ended up doing the test, and I had to wait 15-20 minutes for the drops to set in, which he took in another client during this time. I wonder had I not asked the question, would I had been told to return for this other test or would that had been the end of my exam? I did notice that the lady who had her appt did get the blurry eye drop tests as she was still there when i was done.

I was not greeted when entering the store however the clerk at the front was able to direct me toward the Amazon locker. The store is very spacious and organized. The computer section has a lovely display of monitors, laptops and desktops. There's a shipping desk at the front if you need to ship parcels with Purolator. The Amazon pickup experience was pretty easy. You login to your Amazon app setup your settings to allow bluetooth and location services. Once you are close to the locker, one click on your phone will open the locker door and you can retrieve your package. I will most likely use this service as my previous order was stolen by porch pirates. Thank you Staples for having this service at your location.

We were there this afternoon....Aug. 7/26. They have removed the Cash Desk in the middle of the…read morefront entrance, and we had no idea where we were supposed to pay for our purchase. We could see people standing around the edges of the stores behind counters with with signs above for shipping packages/enquiries, and we asked where to go. Were directed to this area and stood in line for over 20 minutes without moving. Someone arrived behind a cash register and took people with packages, but we and several others were left standing with NO help. I ended up going to the very front of the store and spoke to someone and told him how annoyed we were, and he ended up coming to where people were sending packages, and started cashing out the people with purchases!! SO badly organized! Several people put back the things that they wanted to purchase and walked out!!!! We would have done the same, but we REALLY needed our item. I suggest that you put back the Cash Desk so that people don't have to stand in line for so long. Today was a terrible experience at a store that we have been visiting since it opened up. A lady beside me was also very angry and said that the Scarborough store is nothing like this Pickering store.

The building was a bit challenging to find. EMO Tuft is located at 4789 Yonge Street, Suite 1020, inside Hullmark Centre. Take the elevator to the 10th floor after entering the building. The studio is directly connected to North York Centre subway station (Line 1). Use the building entrance at 4789 Yonge Street or enter through the subway concourse and follow the signs to Hullmark Centre.Look for the EMO Tuft signage when you arrive on the 10th floor. Now that that's out of the way we went inside and the staff was incredible! They helped us find our seats and immediately start to think of a design. There are individual stations and people can book and enjoy as they see fit. While the staff provide a pretty detailed briefing of how to tuft the rug honestly it was just a bit challenging for me which put a slight damper on to things nonetheless I'm really grateful for the experience.

I would definitely come back to create a larger piece in the future, as the cost of pro trimming services is a set price. For the amount of time spent here, I definitely think the cost is reasonable!

Shirts with cats on them, sweaters with french bulldogs, tees with birds, silk dresses with cute cats...zomg!!! It was awesome. Their stuff is really cute! And at an insanely reasonable price. I bought 2 sweaters for $29 each. In terms of quality, they weren't bad at all. I'm sure that this stuff is not meant to last more than a season but it will be a fun season while it lasts! :) Will definitely come back to find some cute finds!

Anyhow, they have amazing hours - I was able to go on a Saturday! The experience was great. Their front desk folks are very nice and helpful. I saw Dr. Dang and can't say enough good things about her. She was very thorough and professional - but when she could tell I was curious about what we were doing and why, she was also very happy to explain. Overall, a really wonderful experience. Definitely my new optometrist!

Fast forward 30 years... last week, I found myself in their Markham location with my son who is just starting out in his train hobby. Since we're new to trains, we have no idea what we're doing but the staff were very patient and kind to us. They were welcoming & friendly and didn't blow us off. They took the time to explain some key things to us (which are probably really simple to them, but again, we are clueless!). They also helped us figure out if our used parts would work and pointed us towards small but important items we would need to be successful. I felt like they really cared about starting a newbie out right. We can't thank the staff enough for their kindness. We arrived at their store completely "blank" and left with great knowledge and excitement. THANK YOU!

The rating is for George's Trains customer service for repairs…read more This is my first interaction with George's Trains. They were recommended to me by Credit Valley Railway in Mississauga (a competitor) as the place to take Lionel products for repair. I had bought a Lionel Polar Express train set in December 2018 to have at our place for our grandchildren to play with when they visited. Although I like trains, I have never been in a position to have a set, but decided to take the plunge for our grandchildren. Within a year, the train stopped being controlled by its remote control. To the best of my knowledge there is not an other way to control the train, other than by the remote. I took the locomotive and tender to George's Trains on December 15th, 2019 for repairs. I asked if the repairs could be done by Christmas and they said "no". Fair enough. It was an inquiry, not a request or demand. Two calls by me over the next eight weeks, since drop off to George's, finally resulted in the comment that "8 weeks is not unusual in this business". (Full disclosure - they send this particular type of train out to a third party for repairs; they do not do repairs to this particular Lionel product themselves.) Again, fair enough, but why could that information not be given out at the time I dropped off the equipment? Further comments from the staff person I talked to was that they are "absolutely swamped" and they have no idea of when repairs to my set would be done. The person I talked to was reluctant to call the third party repair place to get information for me because if they did that for everyone, it would "slow down their business so that nothing else would get done". Aside from the seeming lack of communication or customer service, I am having a tough time deciding if the original cost of the train set should be written off as a sunk cost and give up the idea that having a train set for our grandchildren is worth it.
