Wow. What can I say? Just when I thought etiquette and customer service was a thing of the past I went to this place. It all started before I even entered the store. Just as I was taking my behemoth of a Mac Pro tower out of my car, a worker came out to lend me a helping hand. I brought my computer in because it suddenly refused to boot. I have some technical experience when it comes to repairing dead computers but this time I had exhausted all my resources so after some research, I stumbled across Clickon Macs... and thank the Heavens for that! Unlike some other computer retail stores I've been to in the past, the young man at the counter had enough technical knowledge to make me feel at ease. I dropped my computer off in the morning and in the early afternoon, received a call from one of their technicians with the diagnosis. It turns out my hard drive was pooched, which sent me into a mini panic because all of my work documents were on it! However, the tech told me he was doing a pre-scan of my hard drive to see if any or the data was salvageable and that he'd call me back as soon as he had that answer. Well, needless to say, I received the follow up call about 2 hours later with fantastic news. All of my data was recovered and placed onto a new hard drive. I even had them back up all of my data onto an external hard drive that I bought from them just to make sure I didn't make that mistake again :) When all was said and done, my computer was ready for pickup by the end of the day and I was absolutely ecstatic by the service and price. It's good to know there's an honest repair shop left in the city that cares more about their client's needs than their own. I will be recommending Clickon to all my friends! read more

There are not enough stars to reflect the incredible service at ClickOn. I posted a similarly glowing review a few years ago and once again these wizards outdid themselves today (Aug 24, 2022). I recently bought a new MBP and was in the final stages of porting everything over from my cherished (but exhausted) 10-year old MBP. At the same time, I was moving 12 years of cloud storage away from Google. [See where this is heading?] There was (of course) a 3-day period where none of my work was backed-up and that is when the old MBP decided it had enough and committed suicide-by-logic board. I flew into ClickOn and told (begged) them that I just needed the newly zombified MBP to come back to life for just another week - after which it could slide away to digital heaven. Niko tried digital CPR but no dice - I was looking at a pricey new board ... for a machine I was in the process of retiring... until he realized that they had a perfectly workable 10-year old fully compatible refurb sitting on a shelf. They swapped-in my SSD and extra RAM and for $250, problem solved. Sure, I could have salvaged the drive on my own - but for much less than a new board, I can pick up exactly where I left off plus have a great back up machine. Firstly I wanted to thank Nick and the whole crew at Clickon for the excellent service I received with my Macbook Pro. I went to the Apple store at Fairview mall and waiting 20 minutes to talk to someone and then I was told I needed an appointment and the soonest they could get me in with a technician would be next week. As someone who works on my computer I was devastated to wait that long and then I did some searching and found Clickon. When I arrived I was welcomed immediately by a friendly staff member named Ted who assured me that my computer would be looked at that day and would be a nominal diagnostic fee ($35). A short time later I was called back by Ted to let me know that unfortunately my logic board was affected and a replacement would be $550-600 but they would be able to attempt a "refloat" for $250. I told them to go ahead thinking that there was no hope and only a few hours later I was called and told that my computed had been successfully "refloated" and it was ready for pickup. I am so thankful for the service I received and wanted to spread the word that even if Apple says that your computer is not able to be repaired with Clickon there is hope. A few years back I brought in two apple products that a friend gave me to fix that I honestly thought would never get fixed or see the light of day again, a lost cause if you like to think. Anyways I brought them in to the apple store at the mall first and was told I would have to spend nearly 900 to even get anything done to them so I went to Clickon instead. The guys here gave me great information and broke down exactly what needed to be done and how much it might cost me. I was thrilled with the prices and said go for it. They not only fixed the items to basically brand new but also were able to hold onto them for me till I was able to pick them up, even going past their normal time period. Now that same friend has not had to bring the items back since but has gone to other places many times to fix other apple items. Safe to say I really do trust the team at Clickon to honestly fix anything cause I know that i wont have to ever come back again with the items. once they fix them there never is a problem after that. I went to the Apple store last week and it was a zoo as per always. I was able to find someone to help me and asked how I could get service on my computer that was under Apple Care still. They told me that I would need to book and appointment and I said okay thinking I could get one later that day and they told me it would be a whole week! As a student with papers due, midterm exams coming up and daily classes to take notes in I needed to get my computer done quickly so I quickly did a google search and found Clickon. Not only were they courteous and kind when taking in my repair, but they assured me that they would have my computer back to me by the end of the week (this was on a Tuesday). I was lucky and actually was given a phone call on Wednesday as they were able to get the part from Apple quicker than expected. I definitely recommend Clickon for those who want to wait hours and not days to get a response to your service repair with a diagnostic and for those who want to be treated like a person and not a number. read more

Late afternoon on May 18, 2016 I arrived at Clickon with a Destroyed Laptop and requested 'PLEASE Tell me you can retrieve my data.....I have NO Backup!' Misty was empathetic.....'I hope whoever did this to your laptop will buy you another one.' It was destroyed..... I had bought my laptop from them in 2010 and never had any problems with it. I had a deadline.....May 19 at midnight and YES, I learned procrastination is not good and regular backups are important and if I did not get access to my data.....I was in BIG Trouble. EVEN though my Hard drive was bent.....their technician was able to retrieve my data and I was back up and running with a new laptop fully configured in time to meet my deadline. MAC has standard pricing.....So you can buy it ANYWHERE......but if you want Dedicated Caring People to rely on when life throws a curve ball, Follow my Lead and visit Clickon......They CARE...... The only place in Toronto for Apple repairs and service! Just recently brought my MacBook Pro to Clickon for service and I am really impressed with the level of service they provided. They are fully Apple authorized and use genuine Apple parts to complete all repairs. The were able to get my computer back up and running the next day. I wasted time at the Apple Store waiting to see a "Genius" and being told it would be 3 weeks to repair the computer. I called up Clickon, they said bring it in, no appointment necessary! Walked in, they took my computer in and before I was able to walk out the door told me that it would be ready the next day! When I picked it up, it was so clean that I had to ask if they replaced it with a new one. If you need any Apple related service, go no further! So glad they have free store front parking. I recently dropped by Clickon Mac Solutions to get some help on setting up my IMac desktop ( that I had purchased from the store ) and also on registering my computer with Apple. I found the service to be prompt, friendly and professional. The staff on hand, in particular, Bemrich Ayuson, clearly explained and showed me the different steps in how to set up my Apple desktop and walked me through the registration process. I was also encouraged to call back if I had any other questions or concerns. In short, I was extremely pleased with the technical expertise demonstrated by the staff and also with the high quality of service provided. After my laptop took a spill and damaged the hard drive, I was very worried that I had lost a large portion of my digital work. Did I back it up? No. Am I an idiot? Yes. Despite that fact, Scott was very friendly and understanding, assuring me that they'd do everything they could to help. Although a standard recovery was only able to save some of my files, the amazing in-house technician Jim was able to spend a little more time with it and recover the files I desperately needed. They even called to give me updates on 'surgery' and saved me a lot of money on what would have been a very expensive repair. I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled we are with the repairs and upgrades we have had done on our Mac Book Pros. Recently. we consulted with Apple at the Eaton Center and they sent us over to Click On Macs. We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and how organized everything looked. I don't understand the bad reviews of this place. I have never had anything but excellent service from them. I had work done on a MacBook, they helped me fix an iPad, and one time, they were nice enough to print something for me when I was in a rush to get everything done at once. (Clearly not a service they offer, just being good guys.) They are sweet, kind, and engaged. They are (kind of shy) computer nerds at their finest. I rarely write on line reviews but am writing one for these guys because my experience is NOTHING like the bad reviews listed here and I know people tend to rely on them when looking for services. I have bought both new and used macs here and have been very happy with their service. I've also recommended Clickon to my friends, something I wouldn't have done if I weren't confident they would be well served. Nick and his staff deal very fairly with me, their service is quick and they go the extra mile to make sure everything is in order. For example, recently I stupidly got my computer infected with spyware, and Clickon made sure my hard drive was quickly and effectively cleaned. I had been here back in the day for computers and printers- Then I gave it a break when I was seduced by Apple stores and boutique computer shopping. My wife's 2008 MacBook Pro died Friday and we were in need of something. My wife was very slow and uncertain throughout the process. They were not only patient- they did some diagnostic testing that the well heeled employees at the Apple stores cannot do. These guys grew on us- and we will not go anywhere else. I have come to clickon for computor problems I've had in the past, and have always had a great experience. Recently I purchased a used laptop from them, the machine was totally fine. I only considered buying a used product from them because of my past experience. It turns out after purchasing the laptop it couldnt be updated to the OS I needed, I thought I could make it work but it just couldnt. It only cost $20 to get my computer checked out. ($65 up the street at the local competitor) I got my diagnosis for my 27 inch iMac within 2 hours and had my hard drive replace with 24 hrs. I was having trouble with my MAC MINI. I contacted Clickon Macs after seeing their store on my way to work. They were able to increase the RAM on my machine and remove some malware making it run smoothly and quickly. It had taken roughly an hour to open Outlook or Work, now it opens in about 20 seconds. My old iMac finally bit the dust and the screen was black... in a panic I brought it in and knew I wanted a laptop, so I traded it in for parts and the guys spent hours transferring over my old hard drive onto a MacBook so I didn't lose any of my work or photos and made sure everything was exactly as I'd had it on my old computer. My computer stopped functioning suddenly. We called ClickonMacs and they were very responsive and helpful. They ordered us a new computer which arrived the next day. They worked hard to retrieve the data that they could which was most of it. They were patient and answered all of my questions. Very professional and knowledgeable.
