I'm starting a new job in March and needed to complete an FBI background check. My employer provided a list of approved vendors, and Fieldprint Site - CCC Fingerprinting Services in Forest Park was close to where I live and had great appointment availability. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was not pleasant. I was greeted by a friendly woman with locs who instructed me to sign in, which was perfectly fine. However, an older gentleman then came out and asked what I was there for. My confirmation information was on my phone, and before I could even pull it up, he pointed to several posted signs about no cell phones. That's understandable--but the way he communicated it was rude and unnecessary. Just a heads-up to anyone going here: make sure you have your confirmation number printed, written down, or fully memorized, because you may be scolded for trying to access it on your phone. The overall atmosphere honestly felt uncomfortable, almost like an intake process to be booked at county jail rather than a professional service environment. I'm giving 2.5 stars only because the process itself was quick and efficient once completed. If you're lucky, you'll be helped by the friendly woman instead. Otherwise, I would recommend using this location only as a last resort. Even for fingerprinting services, basic customer service should still be a priority. The worst location EVER. He has no sanitary practices. The machine is NOT cleaned after each use. He has no visible sanitizer available. He was rude. He was not timely. The lobby was full of people waiting. Why make appointments? He used a cloth just sitting on the desk to clean my daughter's hand rather than have her PROPERLY clean her own hands. Nor did he offer sanitzer. It was a disgusting experience. I will NEVER return or recommend this location. Instead of being stern about phone usage, that same energy is necessary for protecting people who patronize this location with proper sanitary practices. I was VERY agitated when I left. The bald man lacks customer service skills. He was very rude upon my entering the establishment. No greetings, no smile; just a grumpy, irritated face giving you the side eye. He didn't speak clearly when giving instructions and mispronounced my name without apologizing after I corrected him. He gives off a vibe as if he's working at the Dept of Corrections and you are a criminal. Maybe he doesn't realize that professionals and average citizens need fingerprinting for all sorts of reasons and have chosen this location voluntarily. He fails to understand that without customers, the business won't succeed, and he won't have a job. Next time I need the Identogo fingerprinting services, I will go to the one in Fayetteville. Do not come here unless you want to be treated disrespectfully. read more
