They clearly don't care about customer service. Have been on hold for an hour plus for a simple outage. I tried looking up outages in my area and it's impossible to find. This complaint is directed to CCI's customer service. Apparently they have outsourced customer service to the Philippines. My ear has a hard time adjusting to the cadence and accent of the very pleasant folks who answer. My conversation is constantly saying "I'm sorry. Will you repeat that?" This morning I was on the phone for 55 minutes. 30 minutes of that time was for holding for someone to answer. The next 25 minutes were spent trying to help Midge understand my issue. I received an email yesterday stating that my payment had failed. Midge advised that I call my bank to ask why the payment was "sealed". The bank person checked my account and stated that they hadn't received a request for payment from CCI and she didn't understand the "sealed" request. The CCI rep asked me to get a confirmation # and call back and give it to them. Since there was no transaction with the bank; just a conversation, the bank rep couldn't give me a conf #. I plan to call again tomorrow and ask for a supervisor. Perhaps that will get me to someone whose first language is English. I understand there is no longer a brick & mortar that I go to for help. I'm at a loss as to how to deal with this! read more

UPDATE: A supervisor from CCI called me less than 24 hour after posting this review. He addressed my concerns and assured me that this conduct was not acceptable to their company and assured me it would be addressed right away. I really appreciate his willingness to help. ORIGINAL POST: The guys in truck 6247 were on my property and had to access a box outside my bedroom window, apparently for a neighbor because we sure didn't call these idiots out. They were talking about "s**t" and cussing at my cat through the open window. They were the most unprofessional service people I have ever seen on the property! read more

Please don't get cci services, it is not worth it. Worst Internet service I have ever experienced. TV sucks as well. All their equipment is faulty and they will never replace it. Internet is the slowest Internet I have ever used. Makes me miss those AOL discs and netzero. That's how bad this Internet is. I have the 20 mbps package and I only get an average 1.89 down/0.74 up. It's 9 am on monday. Why is this the normal speed? It's actually like this 24/7 Sunday to Sunday. If you read this, please don't get their service. I regret it so much I would gladly pay more for comcast. And I hate comcast. But I hate cci about 100 times more than I hate anything. read more

I have never written a review but something CCI tech told us when we reported our failing equipment for the 31st time, CCI NO LONGER SUPPORTS TV. What that means if you have CCI you can cancel your tv service. we have been with CCI since it was called winfirst. almost 18 years. CCI failed to tell us they quit tv months ago. So we've been paying for awful tv with promises to fix it. No refund but they want their nonfunctional box back. We at least got out of contract. I believe this is so dishonest it is unbelievable. Also they made us wait 10days to "fix" the nonfunctional tv service when they could have told us on phone that they didn't support tv anymore. Obviously this was so the could keep billing at their outrageous rates. We canceled that day. We are loving the more expansive Youtube tv. it is flawless and wonderful. read more

Attempted to contact Customer Service for their system of residential voicemail. Guess my access code suddenly isn't working. I had to press about 15 prompts to get to LIVE technician, who proceeded to constantly interrupt. I asked to be transferred to a Supervisor and was transferred to a number that recording stated was not in service/disconnected. This was DEB, my first attempt. Called back and got another CS staff Darlene, who refused to transfer my call but insisted that a "form" needed to be completed. Which, DEB failed to mention. Darlene, dispite repeated statements to her about using Active Listening for problem-solving, refused to transfer but stated needed to collect more information. I furnished the bare minimum as all the contact info is on the account...I'I'm assuming. Now waiting for what could be 4 hours for her Supervisor to call me back. I stated I could drive to the local office much faster. She stated that 'they' have minimal staffing and prefer we work through the support via telephone. IF only that were able to have been done the first call, I wouldn't have had to call twice. Waiting...waiting... BTW, when calling earlier this year to upgrade cable through them...was told that due to the infrastructure of my neighborhood, they can not upgrade cable to anything better than what my current provider delivers. (AT&T) Sorry but not interested in moving to a new neighborhood after 40 years in the same house just for better cable with CCI when they can't even seem to respond to an issue with my voicemail access code! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. On 2-23-21 I spoke to a team leader named Seth about a promo price that was offered to me on 2-8-21 by Sara. My recent bill did not reflect that promo price. While talking to Seth he put me on hold to listen to the recording. Seth claims such a conversation was not recorded and no mention of the promo price offered to me which was to be effective 2-1-21. Why that part of the conversation was not reflected in the recording is beyond me. I took notes on my end and did not imagine that promo price out of thin air. Seth for all intents and purposes was calling me a liar. Seth refused my request to have Sara call me in hopes of jogging her memory and also refused my request to speak to his management. He terminated the phone call. This is disgraceful customer service. I am offended to be treated this way. Seth talked over me constantly. I have no explanation how this conversation was not in the recording. Seth refused to honor the promo price. I will be looking for another internet service provider ASAP. Kathy read more

Had times of 12:30-4. Came home at 12:10 and the technician was already here. He did a quick walk around and explained where everything would go. 30 minuets later he was done. He double checked that the phone was working and the internet. He did a great job! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We set up an install, but the tech was a no show. After over twenty minutes on the phone with various people, we were told that they did not have enough information to run a credit check. They did, however, send a confirmation email confirming the install, making no mention that they needed additional information. They claimed to have left one voice mail with no other attempts to contact the alternate phone number or email us. They instead cancelled the appointment. My husband took half the day off and burned vacation time for this crap. The customer service reps were unapologetic and shifted the blame to us. I should probably feel lucky that we did not get this service installed. Who wants to put up with this poor service over a two-year-period? read more
