I recently took my renewal class through Bill and it was a pleasure. I have taken Bills class three times now, but this class in particular is located on a private outdoor range and creates a perfect setting for class & shooting experience. Bill and his team were very knowledgeable and friendly. The current prerequisite for renewals is eight hours up four hours from previous years and 16 hours for first time applicants. With that being said it's nice to have a class that has a good vibe that is set up well to give you the info you need and easy to learn fashion. It goes quick, before you know it, the class is over and you have your certificate for your training. Just finished an all day firearm training session with Lead Instructor, William Desy, and his team, Rocky Obermeyer (RSO) and Joe Drammissi. What a great team! Safety is paramount, Bill and Joe are clear to explain how, when and where guns are handled during class and shooting range time. Provided some shade and water/gatorade. 2. Respectful and understanding. Evaluating your gun skill level and will take time to improve your knowledge of what you need to know to pass both the shooting and paper test. 3. Environment was oudoor in the fresh air, a portapotty, easy up for shade. Dirt road to access the class/shooting range, so you may need to ride in with someone else if your not comfortable with off roading. I just finished my third CCW certification with Bill and Joe. They are so professional, so knowledgeable and bring everything applicable to today. Every time I take a class I not only learn something new, I learn many new things, about the law, threat awareness and threat analysis. I then tested on the range observed my target and what I thought was pretty good. Until I saw the target of the person next to me. With both of his weapons every shot was in the "A"circle, nothing outside. I later learned he had trained with Bill as his instructor. First and foremost, Bill Desi is the man! My wife has never shot before and I definitely needed to get back to the basics in regard to proper firearm training. From the minute I established contact with Bill through email (which he replied to promptly), I knew that he was going to be our firearms instructor. Done several classes on shooting with different instructors and must say Bill was about the best one.

I used to shoot guns many years ago, and my wife never has. We did a 2 hour private class with Bill and it was exactly what we were looking for. In the first hour, he instructed us about gun laws and then safe gun handling. In the second hour we shot different semi-automatic pistols in the firing range; all the while Bill stressed gun safety.
