I have been going to this dry cleaners ever since they opened. I like the service, the prices and the staff.

They ruined my pink wool coat. Lots of black fibers throughout the coat after they 'cleaned' it. Never again!

Place is not worth it. Used to go here, but way too many times of getting clothes back with stains or lines in the clothes when many times they were brand new. When staffed saw, they couldn't care less other than say they can try to re dry clean them. Never any credit or apology. Place is a risk to take your clothes. Skip. read more

Absolutely disgraceful on how they treated my wife. I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years at the Praire st location and have been the one dropping and picking up. Recently my wife went in to drop 4 shirts and and after reviewing the receipt thought she was overcharged by almost double. When returning to ask about the charges, a male manager told her it was her fault that she had not paid attention. Told her that there was nothing he would do and slammed done her money. The rudest, most unprofessional, and chauvinistic experience she has ever encountered. Will not ever go back..not that these business care. read more

I haven't used a dry cleaners in over 30 years. I had 2 dresses that were dry clean only. The linen dress had orange juice spilled on it, the second dress had 2 spots on it. Both dresses came back with the stains. It really doesn't matter how inexpensive Service is if you pay for something that you aren't getting which was clean items. read more

I had an old leather jacket that needed a new zipper. They provided an initial estimate of the repair and said someone would be in touch with a final estimate. A few days later they called with the estimate which was a bit higher than originally quoted, but still reasonable for a leather jacket. They said the coat would be ready the following Friday. I received a message the next Tuesday that it was ready. I just picked it up and they did a fantastic job! You can't even tell the zipper has been replaced. The price was reasonable and they finished it three days early. Definitely an example of under promise and over deliver. They've earned my future business. read more

This location recently damaged two of my new dress shirts. I brought them back in to have the manager take care of them. The evening staff are two young guys who seem totally ignorant of the business operations. They stared blankly at me. They suggested I come back in the morning to speak with the store manager, as they were unable to help me. Rafael, the store manager, apparently only works in the mornings. I told them that I live about 25 miles from the store and could not take the time off work to drive back and forth again. I asked them to please have Rafael call me to discuss the shirts. He never called. When you call this store, you get a recorded message telling you that all calls are forwarded to a voice mail system, which is full, so you cannot leave messages. Then it hangs up on you. I drove back to the store the next evening and got the same story: come back in the morning. I tried reaching out to the corporate office, but with no response. I expect some modicum of customer service, even when the manager is not on site. I also expect the manager to both respond to customer complaints and certainly to keep his phone lines running and voice mail serviceable. read more

Been going here for a couple months. The price is right. The service and actual cleaning is garbage. I request no starch and half of my shirts always get starched. This time I asked clerk why and she looked at my ticket and said "it's not possible your shirt has starch the ticket says none." I asked her to feel it and she had no response. I asked for manager he came out and said basically the same. Then he advised the hot press could cause that feeling of starch. I said that is unacceptable and he said "well I'm sorry have a nice day". You get what you pay for!!! Place is garbage. As a business owner I appreciate standing up and always backing the manager. However, that is exactly what he said and never offered any explanation other than it was not possible and never offered a redo on the shirts. read more

I've been using them for over a year and loved the convenience and price. We used them at least once a week, my husband's dress shirts. In the last month they ruined 3 shirts, after the cleaning, we found stains on the shirts that weren't there before. I asked to rewash the shirts and they did but the stains were still there. I filed a dispute and got some money back for one of the shirts as I didn't have the original receipt. The last few washes shirts stunk as BO and chemicals, it took 3 washes at home to get rid of the smell!! I'm not going back. read more

I love these guys! 1st of all, if you get your clothes to them by 10am, they are ready to go by 5pm the same day. 2nd, I pay a little over 1.00 per shirt. The collars on my white shirt stay white, the shirts are crisp and clean, as well as my dress pants. I will never iron a dress shirt or dress pants ever again. Suits, dress shirts, dresses for my girlfriend, etc. I have never waited more that 1 minute for drop off/pick up, and the employees are always very friendly and quick to assist. The quality has tanked and I can no longer justify the price. I have gotten back shirts that were wrinkled, soiled, full of lint and even stained and that one was clean when I dropped it off. I wear a suit daily so I go through a lot of clothes with them. My suits had as many as four creases running down the front of the legs. They lost a suit coat and other items too. When they redo an article they often can't figure find it for close to 10 minutes. I have been embarrassed in meetings when I look down and realize I have multiple creases, or I unpack on a trip and find bad press jobs. If you need basic clean and press it's cheap so it works. If you need to look professional then you might reconsider. I went back to my old cleaners and it was like my suits were new, the fabric looked and felt very different. Do your homework and compare if quality is more important than price. read more

Update: Do not walk - RUN AWAY. from this place. Took in my sweater and showed the damage to the manager. He deflected everything to the owner and said he would have to decide. Guess what? They did nothing wrong. The owner has no guts. He makes the decision but makes his manager call me. I will NEVER return to this business and if you value your clothes you shouldn't either. If I could give them negative stars I would. Extremely unhappy. This place ruined a very expensive Eileen Fisher sweater. I am heartbroken. As a follow up, they sent me a satisfaction survey about three weeks ago, which I completed. Since my review was an unsatisfactory review, they asked what they could do to make it right. I told them. NO ONE has contacted me. The only thing worse than crappy service is to ask about it and never respond. Why send your stupid survey- have your customer take the time to complete it - and then you do NOTHING! Dropped my clothes off for same day on a Saturday. Returned to pick them up and the teenager was rude right off the start, says yeah we lost one of your pants we'll call you. Excuse me?? Wouldn't even give me the managers name until I asked. I called back Monday morning, manager also short and rude, said he was looking for them and would call me. I asked why no one had called me or followed up with me, only said "I'm looking for them, they probably got into the wrong bundle". I called again late afternoon, still nothing. Manager said "it's not the end of the day and I will call you back". GUESS WHAT-never got a call back. They must have blind people working here. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when my brother's coat was turned down for having too much cat hair. If I'm not mistaken that's the job of the cleaners, to clean clothes. I also forgave them for doing a poor job cleaning some large rugs, maybe they were tough to clean. I am never going back because of how terribly they cleaned the three pairs of pants I brought to them. Zero out of the three turned out okay. My black pair had a spill on them which they completely ignored. I didn't get a note saying there was a stain which they couldn't get out, it's like they didn't bother to notice that the entire right leg had been spilled on. They were also pressed unevenly and incorrectly. The fold line went all the way up the back of the leg and over the butt of the pants. The front had one side that looked like they tried to connect the dots between the pleat and the fold, the other side (that was actually the more correct one) wasn't even near the pleat. I had the same experience with the pressing on the two other pairs of pants. Don't make the mistake of trusting these people with your clothes. I never will again. read more

I really like this place and I am happy that we finally have one close by. The prices are so reasonable, and to get dress shirts laundered are even more reasonable. Your items are usually ready the next day. I've in the past needed an item sooner even though I had dropped it off later than required for same day service. This was no problem. My item was ready by the specified time. I'm only giving four stars because they can't seem to get ring-around-the-collar out very well. But perhaps it's just us? Thank you CD1. I used to really like this cleaners because of their efficiency and price. The people working in here also friendly and responsive. However, the problems start in the back. I actually worked at a dry cleaner in college, so I know some of the process' and how to treat stains etc. I've had six occasions when I've got something back and a stain is still there. I have little kids so one incident was literally food that you could dry and take off, no problem. When I got it back it was still crusted on there like nobody even touched it! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept coming back and I would point something out and say "no, put a safety pin on the stain to pre treat it" or instructing them to "write a note where the stain is to treat". No improvement, I basically handed my shirt to a robot which processed it in five minutes without any quality control at all. It's great to get a shirt back the same day, but I really don't care if they can't get a stain out or pay attention to anything I say. Maybe they need to send the manager to a dry cleaning conference. The owner of the dry cleaner I worked at literally went away for a conference for two weeks and came back with great new ideas and new processes to treat stains. My 5 stars review is specifically for the St Charles, IL store where the whole staff is very attentive and professional. I've be going there for almost 3 years and service and price are excellent. I probably spend over $1000 a year in laundry/dry cleaning with this store. Recently I moved north and although I'm happy with the St Charles store, I decided to try the Crystal Lake, IL store since it was 15 miles closer. Unfortunately, the Crystal Lake CD store experience was so disappointing that I'm driving the extra 15 miles to St Charles. The cost savings aside this location has ruined 3 expensive shirts with staining in the exact same spot which clearly highlights the staining was during the press. This location is very close to my house. If I come early enough I can pick my clothes up the same day, which is great! If not, the next day. Prices are very competitive and the people are friendly. I have never had a bad experience so far. For what the service costs it's not worth wasting my time ironing shirts or pants at home! I dropped off my cleaning at 9:30 AM on Saturday and it was ready the same day by 5 PM. I like the email notification when it's available for pick up and that the hours are 7-7 M-S. The cost is very reasonable priced - well below what I was paying to my previous cleaner. read more
