The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Ugh.

Go home and get some rest and plenty of fluids. You know, crap like that. MAN, I hate doctors... ...or, at least I did, until I met Dr. Silverman. Lemme tell you something about this guy: I called his office one night complaining of really bad pain in my throat. It was about 5pm on a Friday night and I had no idea who to go to - the emergency room is never a help ANYWHERE, so I chanced across Dr. Silverman's name in the yellow pages. His staff was very friendly and squeezed me in THAT NIGHT so I could see the doc, who even though it was close to time for the office to close by my appointment (they close at 7, thank the moons!) still stayed to talk with me... ...and man, did he ever! Not only did he find out what was wrong and prescribe antibiotics, he sat down and talked with me at length about my entire medical history, helping me to get some help with other issues that I had always wanted help with! He was kind, attentive, and made me feel like a valued patient that he actually had a vested interest in healing! Imagine that! These people are HORRIBLE. They are pushy, blame parents for everything, and they refused to even…read moreconsider our request to switch doctors. My daughter had severe plagiocephaly and needed a referral to physical therapy and for an orthodic helmet. The doctor we signed up with before she was born on the recommendation of our OB/GYN was not available for her 1 month appointment, and she was not able to see us for her 2 month appointment until she was 3 months old, which meant she couldn't start physical therapy until she was 4 months old and the orthodic helmet until she was 5 months old. Between 3 and 5 months, both the torticollis and plagiocephaly worsened dramatically. We've been in PT for six months and are just starting to resolve the problem, and after five months in the helmet, our daughter's head is still grossly mishapen, and the orthodist says there's nothing he can do because we started helmeting too late. The office staff did not listen to us when we asked to see a different doctor at the practice who we had met in the hospital and really liked. If we had had a doctor who actually cared about our child, she would have been so much better off. We switched to a different practice four months ago, and they just called me today about seeing an opthalmologist who practices in a part of the city I can't get to. They didn't even realize we stopped seeing them! Only go here if you want to be treated like a number. Both the doctor and the clinic are horribly dehumanizing. The only good part is the nurses. The nurses are excellent, and I hope they find better practices to work at as they move up in their careers!
