Over the past few years Melissa knows exactly what I want but of course there have been change ups here and there with the cut and she's great at adapting. When I wasn't sure what I wanted she walked me through options and consulted me on pros and cons. When I did know what I wanted she asked all the right questions to execute exactly what I envisioned. As someone who ALWAYS had long hair, I've never felt fully confident enough with someone to chop it all off. With Melissa I did since I knew how detail-oriented she is, and I've never had more compliments on my hair. Melissa also provides nothing short of an excellent customer service experience. My issue is not with the stylist who did my hair (Sabrina, who was wonderful), but with another stylist in the salon. This stylist was doing a client next to me when I was getting my hair washed, and I believe I heard his coworker address him as Zach. The first red flag I got from him is when I heard him mention a girl's name, which I can't remember, but I soon figured out from what he was saying that it was one of his coworkers. He was COMPLETELY s-talking her to his client and saying that "she's like 17 and walking around like she owns the place" and that she's "such a b***." I don't know this girl personally, so who knows what she's like, but that is COMPLETELY unprofessional and I was disgusted about the way he described her. He is a full-grown man talking bad about a young girl. That is extremely inappropriate. His whole demeanor was off-putting and I couldn't stop thinking about it during my appointment. He came off super stuck-up and insensitive. Absolutely crazy to me to be LOUDLY talking smack about one of your coworkers, let alone to a CLIENT. Holiday, think about who you have employed at your salon. Hire people with values and kindness who respect their coworkers, even if they don't like them.

[I absolutely do not recommend anyone ever doing their own hair.] Usually my hair grows in quickly, but after I have extensively processed & chopped the hair unevenly; my hair wasn't growing as it usually does. I was ok with having to go with a pixie cut or a short bob aline. This morning was my appointment. He was able to keep a lot more hair than I thought. Trinidad is my hair stylist and ever since my first hair cut we had a couple of months ago, I have not been disappointed. I've came to this location multiple times due to scheduling/availability. And this one fall short for various reasons but truthfully, they need to figure out their front of house/manager situation. The very few times I've came, each time gets worse and worse. They only have about two or three stylists on the floor hence why their scheduling is so horrible. This last time I think every single minor thing that had happened to me in other visits, all happened at the same time for this one. When I book online, I make sure to put in the notes my hair type and also check off any type of add-ons for what I will be needing that day (assuming that they would accommodate or give me a call if they can't). Since I do have textured hair, I understand sometimes the 45 minute appointment might need some more time and if I do an add-on. I expressed in my notes what I need and sometimes they'll do what I ask sometimes they won't. This time around, as soon as I saw the stylist that was gonna work on me I already knew there was gonna be an issue. As soon as she touches my hair and plays with it for five seconds, she then tells the front desk/MOD that it's gonna take her more than 45 minutes in sort of an irritable attitude. Again, I put that in my booking notes in order for this to NOT HAPPEN. MOD then is playing around with her scheduling books and tells her to leave. The other stylist that I got paired with was still able to do my hair, but there was sort of some tension due to the fact that the risk switching around and the MOD didn't delegate much clearly to the girls. It also put me in an awkward position because it's not necessarily my fault, but I did feel like MOD was not doing anything in order to alleviate the situation, apologize to me, taking any accountability or even bothered to put my add-on included in my tab, which I had to express multiple times in order to get it. I can see why people have expressed this location, canceling their appointments last minute, trying to stack multiple clients in one day amongst three girls, and are not client focused whatsoever, just profit. It's very disappointing and I really hope something changes at this location.
