Another fantastic trip planned by Deanna. Went to Ireland but had to fly in and out of different airports because of meeting up with our daughter in Ireland. As always, Deanna was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in planning our itinerary and all travel info that was needed. She even went further by helping my daughter get across the country to meet up with us. She always knows exactly the type of places we like to stay at, as well. read more

Recently used CDT for booking all inclusive trip to Aruba, seeing many positive reviews, however somewhat disappointed. Our agent, Dorene Lerner, was quite abrupt and vague with specifics of our trip, i.e. royal level all inclusive upgrades for top shelf and in room liquor which we were not made aware of, and not very hospitable when calling w/ a question and somewhat rude. Also a bit unprofessional having our first confirmation letter w/ incorrect dates (glad I caught the error which would have been major issue) along with an incorrect mailing address. For these reasons I would not recommend CDT. I will say however, the Barcelo was a very nice resort! read more

CDT Travel is a great way to book any vacation with a peace of mind, good pricing, and knowledgeable staff/owner. I have to say that Deanna at CDT saved me a lot of frustration after I was bamboozled when using another Travel Agent in the area. I was planning my Destination Wedding with an agent working for another company...I had sent out our save the date cards, created our wedding website and everything. One day I got a call that the agent I was working with was no longer with the company and the prices this person quoted me were completely incorrect. I was FREAKING OUT and knew that I had to stop using this company even though I was completely embarrassed to tell my guests that I had a change of plans. I went to Deanna at CDT and she fixed everything! She encouraged us to change our location to Cancun, MX and provided us with all of the Wedding Planning information for her recommended resort (in our budget). Deanna not only booked air for most of the guests, but hotel and transportation for all 30 guests. She also went above and beyond and acted as a liaison between myself and the Wedding Coordination department at the resort. She was always there to assist us, and tell it to us straight. She is an honest and hardworking business owner that is dedicated to running a successful business. I am more than capable of using travel websites to book my vacations, but I still prefer to book though Deanna at CDT because it is nice to have an actual person to talk to. There is so much information out there, that it becomes overwhelming. If you give Deanna a budget she will work to find something that will work for you. She always returns emails and phone calls. I would recommend using CDT to anyone looking to book a vacation. read more

My husband and I used CDT travel to plan our destination wedding last July 2018. There were many instances of dissatisfaction with Deanna and her team, but most importantly we lost over $600 because they messed up our dates of stay and booked us an extra night. We were unable to use the extra night because our flight was already booked. We never received any compensation for the extra night. We expressed the dates we wanted to stay on 3 occasions yet were still somehow booked an extra night. Another instance where we lost money was the transfer from the hotel to the airport. All of our wedding guests were taken care of with the transfer from the hotel to airport, yet my husband and I (the bride and groom) did not have any transfer to the airport for our departure (we paid for this ahead of time). We ended up having to pay a taxi to take us to the airport and barely made our flight home. We also had 2 guests complain that they did not hear back from Deanna for a couple of weeks and therefore booked their flights through other agencies. I have never gone out of my way to write a negative review but this was my wedding and it was dampened by my experience with CDT travel. Overall, they reimbursed us around $200 so we ended up losing somewhere around $400 which is valuable especially after paying for a wedding. I will never use CDT travel again, nor would I recommend them to anyone! read more
