Our AC was acting up over the holiday and we called back the technician Robert that had previously "fixed" our AC. There is no clear cut pricing everyone likes to charge what they feel is fair for the service calls, our technician Robert was friendly but had zero social cues. He continued to push for work to be done that we were not ready for, he wasn't taking no for an answer. Robert was telling myself and my mother in law my husband said yes so he was going to do the work when my husband and I communicated clearly we did not want to proceed with him and to please leave our home. He stayed outside on the phone with the owner of the company and explained I said no but my husband said yes which was not the case at all. Poor communication is one thing but lack of professionalism and pressuring clients to do work that is costing $385 and then he knocks it down to $350 because he has to drive somewhere to pick up the parts? The most confusing conversation and I'm so glad our regular AC guy came by to confirm we were being taken advantage of. I called the main number and reached a guy to explain the situation I believe his name was Eric. He literally laughed when I explained how uncomfortable it was dealing with Robert. 10/10 would NOT recommend, the work is unclear and they talk so much the entire time you'll be left confused and unsure as to what you're even paying for.

We carefully explained that our washer & dryer were stacked and that the job would require TWO people. But Marvel scheduled only one. Which mean ANOTHER HALF DAY WASTED. Anyone reading reviews for service people knows what it feels like to be jerked around by people like this. But Marvel takes things to another level when it comes to bad customer service. I can sympathize with others who have posted here and on Google: * The dispatcher refused to take responsibility, on behalf of their company, for the screw-up. Had it all been handled differently, I would have accepted a reschedule. * I concur with another reviewer that the dispatcher was "beyond rude and unprofessional to the point of being insulting." Clearly we were talking to the same person. * The dispatcher tried to convince me that my assistant - who has booked the appointment and confirmed via email - was lying or confused. * Then the dispatcher became hysterical and claimed that I threatened her with a bad review. * I can corroborate another reviewer's mention of the calls being recorded. The dispatcher and her manager really seem obsessed with that, which gave me a weird Nixon vibe. Nevertheless, I still encourage them to go to the tapes and confront themselves with the evidence: * The either DID or DID NOT receive clear communication from our end. They either DID or DID NOT screw up on their end.
