I was impressed right away as several other orthodontists wanted to put "spreaders" on my daughter before the actual braces. I thought this was a senseless step in the process that would add an extra 1.5 to 2 years. Dr Gemmi agreed a removed a few teeth that the spreaders were supposed to give space so they would naturally fall out. She had already had to have a few teeth removed to make room for the teeth to have room. Great no nonsense orthodontists that don't need to add the extra cost for additional profit. Also a great lesson for my daughter to shop around and get several opinions as even respected orthodontists would recommend senseless treatment to make additional profit.
