The driver, Gabriel, was prompt & courteous. He was not able to fix the problem with his battery booster but he kindly gave my husband a ride to a local business in Mentone to get jumper cables. My husband attempted to fix her car and while he was working on it, we asked the gentleman driving the McDaniel truck for his card. After my hubby's attempted repair job, she knew as soon as she got on the interstate her car wasn't fixed so she pulled over and called McDaniel. They came and met us on the interstate. They diagnosed a cracked radiator which they couldn't fix (for some reason) and didn't charge her for the call. This was on a Sunday afternoon, so was likely "emergency after hours." The gentleman gave her a recommendation for a wrecker to tow her 80 miles to Birmingham to the nearest dealer (at her request). The man was very nice and respectful. Nice to know good honest people still exist. We offered to pay and he declined, which earns them a five star review! Highly recommended based on our experience with them!

Using Yelp I found this shop was the closest to I-59 (just west of exit 222) and the first shop I'd come to as I traveled south. Be grateful for the map that accompanies this review. Airport Tires (also identified as Wholesale Tires by location signage) would have been extremely hard to find without it, because it's not visible until you find and drive down the road it's on. What could have been a great misadventure was actually a really pleasant experience. I pulled in the parking lot and explained my problem in the office. My car was immediately taken into the shop where the large screw in my tire was quickly found. Less than 15 minutes later, we were on our way again. Very nice folks who know what they're doing and made us feel like we were neighbors they had known and cared about for years.
