If I could give 6 stars, I would…read more I had a mobile dent repair guy attempt to fix scratches someone left on my new car on the bumper and grill and he used matte black (my car is gloss black) when he told me he had the correct paint color... He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. After a week I called and was told they couldn't possibly have told us it would be done in a week because it would be at least two. While I was on the phone, the two owners started yelling at each other and acting very unprofessional. Two weeks turned into three weeks before the job was done. The paint job looked good when it was done, but the paint started to peel after a month. We took it back to ask about the warranty they said we had, and they told us it was rock chip damage and wasn't covered so they didn't have to fix it. I have seen many rock chips on paint and they didn't peal the way these were doing. I had to have it fixed elsewhere. I don't recommend this business unless you don't want your car back for a long time and don't want to have a dependable warranty.

They are very skilled and Ron keeps his prices very reasonable without sacrificing quality. On one job his shop did for me, a VW van, I was allowed to purchase the panels online from the UK and have shipped here at 1/3 the price at the VW dealer. The technicians replaced & painted the hood, and front right fender. That was 8 years ago and the work that they did has endured and still maintains its integrity and beauty. They saved me several hundreds if not a couple thousand dollars and I could not have afforded it without them. They also replaced the headliner on my 86 Trans Am several years ago and just recently replaced the window regulator in my Honda Accord. Each time, I didn't have comprehensive insurance and paid out of pocket and I was *STILL* impressed with how inexpensive the 3 jobs were. In fact, on the window regulator job, they actually *reduced* their original quoted price by $100. Just because you have a fender bender on a car that is otherwise reliable, you may not need to pay for a new car. Get an estimate from Ron.
