The outdoor seating can get infested with flies, which is something you'll have to live with if eating at those bench tables. I don't really give out 5 stars that often but this place really deserves it. I am still shocked and amazed at how good their burger is! I ordered the cheeseburger ($5) - kinda pricey compared to VJ's. But Mrs. Mike's burgers are bigger comparatively speaking. The cheeseburger is on a sesame bun, probably the size of a whopper. The patty is just slightly bigger than the bun and cooked with a slight crisp on the outside but still juicy inside - I love that! The flavour of the beef patty is perfectly seasoned and balances so well with the cheese, pickle, chili, onion and mustard. They don't put too much chili on their burgers so it's not as messy to eat but you still get the chili flavour. Of course I had to order their fries ($3). Freddy's is known for their steakburgers and their frozen custard. In my opinion, the frozen custard was better than their steakburgers. Their patties are paper thin to the point where you're eating a burger with a wide, thin patty in the middle. Some people might like that, I'm not crazy over it. Their custards, on the other hand, were quite good, particularly their Orange Freddy's Frost. I don't see myself coming here often. Perhaps if a friend wants to try this place I'll revisit here.
