The shop itself is in part of a large building, so you need to follow the hot pink signs to find the entrance and their parking lot. I'd checked the business out online and discovered that it's a non-profit charity, so I brought in a bag of items to donate to the store. I was overwhelmed by the space. There's so much to see and a bunch of different rooms. I walked around in circles because it was just too much for my brain. I know I missed areas but I had to give up due to input overload. If you've got time, Upscale Rummage is a great place to visit and shop. It's always nice to know that your money will be doing good in the community.

They take pride in their offerings. They have a section of used & donated goods for resale all neatly displayed and hung up. I have found 2 authentic Coach purses in great condition for only $5 each!!! Then they have a retail section in which you can grab brand new items from the shelf just like at a big box store but at a vastly discounted price. I have already purchased many items that will be under my tree. Now for the best part, they have bins which contain anything & everything. All items in the bins are a flat price based on the day of the week, Fri $10 - Sat $8 - Sun $6 - Mon $4 - Tues $2 you then decide if you want the item at $10 on Fri or take a chance to see if it's still there for $2 Tues. I was hoping this would encourage her to do more closet cleanouts more often! She filled 2 large garbage bags of trendy teen clothes (Brandy Melville, Edikted, Aritzia and more). I told her I'd bring them to Plato's Closet. She warned me that she saw on TikTok that Plato's is super picky and rejects most clothes, but I was thinking how could they possibly reject all these barely warn clothes from the most popular teen brands. I expected to show up, have them go thru the clothes and pay me right away, but when i got there I noticed there was a process. You scan the QR code, leave the bags of clothes and then they text you when they are ready for you to pick up your cash plus anything they don't want. They said it wold take about 30 minutes so I decided to just wait in my car since it took me about that time to get to Plato's from home. As promised, 30 minutes later they updated me that everything had been sorted so I headed back in. They handed me back 2 full bags of clothes which clearly meant they didn't take much. And they gave me $58 for what they did take. They didn't actually show me what they took, but they said they were mostly looking for summer clothes (in January) so most of the rejections were fall/winter. They told me to come back in a few months with fall/winter clothes, but i wanted this stuff out of my house so dropped it at good will later that day where I hope they all went to good use. When I gave my daughter the $58 and told her they rejected most I got a "i told you so." I don't think this was enough money to encourage regular closet cleanouts, but maybe worth going back every so often with after a very large cleanout. I did browse a bit while I was in there and I saw a lot of clothes that my daughter was like. It all looked to be in great condition and all her favorite brands. I know a lot of teens like to shop here and i can see why, although clearly we don't need to add anything to my daughter's closet.
