It disapointing when one of your favorite places becomes "just another place". I'm my humble opinion, Lisa's was much better off when it was just a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop truck stop.. it had a charm that actually made me willing to wait patiently for one of the six tables and have an amazing meal. Now that they added on a considerable sized addition,it seems that the folks at Lisa's care more about being BIG than better. I refuse to be treated improperly by anyone who want me to spend my hard earned money in their establishment and it started when it tokl a full 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge my buddy Richard and I. I ordered a chef salad and an enchilada plate and was told that I couldn't have my salad first and they in fact came out at the same time, on paper plates... with cheap plastic utensils. I can honestly say, If I wanted to eat on paper plates, I could've had a better meal by warming up something in the microwave in the truck. I hope the folks at Lisa's Truck Center create whatever it is they are trying to turn this once beloved stop in to, but they will have to do it without my patronage. I wish you the best.

My husband had just the egg white, bell pepper, hashbrown burrito he doctored it up with sea salt and pepper. Everything is made fresh and it was greatly appreciated and again the staff was great. Some of the workers that work on the building are a bit aggressive with the girls in the restaurant and like to talk smack about the customers in Spanish which makes folks feel uncomfortable but the owners would have to get that under control. I can't even begin to explain the indignity of having my concerns completely dismissed by the men at the counter who had not the time for my doubts. Or the outrage of being side-eyed and ignored by those same staff when I CAME BACK IN, indeed needing a different product than what they gave me (as I not too delicately tried to tell them before they'd already wasted an hour of my day). Or the boundless incredulity at their utter refusal to listen to my words even as I pointed at the clearly-marked product number on the thing and said "I need a 94R, this is a 96," but speaking over me to tell me that it was exactly a 94R. Oh, that's when the guy who previously ignored my second plea for assistance in order to do some very important cart pushing recognized the issue--dirty rotten stockers putting stuff on the wrong racks--and things began to very slowly become clear for all involved. No, I can't even begin to tell you. Instead I intend to tell their GM and/or regional office. I also needed to use the bathroom and get some ice. This place satisfied all my needs and its right off of 25, so the detour is very minimal. Its a tight location and a lot of transient traffic. Nothing exciting here, just your average gas station but will get the job done for you.
