The restaurant had loads of parking around it for cars and a reasonable sized lot next to it for trucks, buses and trailers. Our server managed the section of 6-8 tables well and refilled my sweet tea without request. She also brought out a basket of thin restaurant chips and salsa that was mildly hot and refreshingly flavorful. We ordered a stuffed Sopapilla which was very interesting--like a superior version of enchiladas; The Duke Burger which was bursting with flavors; and a Green Hill Chilli Burger which I found fascinating. The fries were superbly golden brown and had a particularly crispy exterior! We were so thrilled with our lunches that we ordered a piece of pie from the case. We were informed that a lady who was not an employee of the restaurant makes and sells them there. We did not catch the hint, and went ahead and ordered a Rhubarb Pie. It was a 2 star. They allowed my kids to sample the Jamaica agua Fresca and then the whole family ordered at least one. They had pineapple, Jamaica, cucumber lime, horchata, watermelon and limeade. Two of our bunch got the steak fries which were with good quality meat and they added salsa from their well stocked salsa bar. They even give you free chips! My daughter had two steak tacos and loved it and my partners dad had the steak burrito! The portion sizes were amazing! The food was great oh and I tried their fish taco which was fried and had a nice spicy salsa and a healthy amount of pico! Everything was well worth it and only cost $88!!!!!!! Unfortunately, the root vegetables were so hard that they were difficult to pierce with a fork. The potatoes were just ok. I was disappointed . Dessert was a Hazelnut layered cake. We were seated and got drinks quickly. I got a half rack of pork ribs with a side salad and coleslaw, and the person I was with got a full rack with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The side salad was good, and came before the meal. A variety of dressings were available and was served on the side. The coleslaw was the creamy kind (instead of vinegar) and was good as well. The ribs were tender and generously sized. Even with the half rack I ended up taking some home. I wasn't a huge fan of the bbq sauce served on the side but they had a great rub on them so they didn't really need sauce. They also had a full drink menu, complete with local beers and 30 oz margaritas. Overall, a hearty lunch in a great location.
