Super convenient for Placitas residents. Good hours and friendly service. If you spend over $100 dollars remember to save your receipt for a discount on your next visit! Local vibes. Def not a tourist spot.... but if you're passing through Placitas it's a great place to pick up almost anything you need. Selections aren't huge but it's definitely good enough. They have a decent deli and make their own deli goodies such as guacamole, salsa, and macaroni salad. Nice wine selection. Liquor selection is fine too. An easy stop for Placitas residents needing to pick up some fresh/missing items after big grocery haul. Produce and meat selection is slim but very fresh and delicious..... maybe stock up basic supplies at a big box type store and come here for the missing or fresh / Produce items. Bought some Steaks here to grill with the family and they were priced fairly and very tasty and fresh. I just wouldn't want to shop here for ALL my goods, as there is some , inevitable, up charging on select items due to the massive convenience factor. Still a five star review because this place is exactly what it's supposed to be . Also for the record , the scenery is beautiful.

For the record, I'm talking about a true handheld breakfast burrito--not one served on a plate and smothered in red, green, or Christmas chile. Hello Deli in Albuquerque's Journal Center is one of the homegrown New Mexico spots I happily recommend when the craving for a handheld breakfast burrito hits. My go-to order is the "Pronto" with sausage and green chile. Just tell the kitchen that's what you want, and they'll take care of the rest. Wrapped in foil and perfectly sized (and priced) for a good breakfast on the go, the Pronto delivers a well-balanced combination of eggs, cheese, potatoes, sausage, and New Mexico green chile. As you peel back the foil, you're greeted with warm, satisfying goodness in every bite. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, the Pronto is reliably delicious and remains my go-to handheld breakfast burrito in Albuquerque.

This restaurant has maintained a high level of service, cleanliness and food quality. This morning we met our kids for breakfast here as it was closest to a central location for all. We arrived as they were opening their doors, and we followed the early queue in, were rapidly seated. Drinks were served quickly and refilled often. My wife and I split an Ol' Traditional with hash browns, bacon and pancakes for the bread. Our son had the same except with sausage and white toast. Our daughter had the Huevos Rancheros with papitas and Christmas chile. One thing that sets Hello Deli apart is their egg preparation. Most restaurants in NM fix over easy eggs with the whites fully cooked. Hello Deli follows what we find in most other places. The whites are just a bit runny. If you don't like that, be sure to order over medium. The hash browns weren't very brown, but were tasty. Next time I need to remember to order them crispy. The bacon was ok and the pancakes were very tasty but a bit doughy. Maybe being as early as we were, the griddle hadn't fully heated to the proper temperature. I know we've had better in the past. Our daughter raved about the red Chile sauce. Overall the food was good and the service was fantastic.

It was fun to listen to and watch and my son was happy to see other kids his age there too! You have to order at the counter and then they deliver your food to you. We were all debating what we were gonna get, but the woman who took our order was friendly and patient. She made suggestions on what she liked and ordered which was much appreciated! I heard they got a popular review and had to try it for myself, it helped it was Vietnamese cuisine at least with me anyways in taking that initial leap, but it was well worth it. I ordered their rice noodle bowl with chicken and it didn't disappoint, loads of fresh as well as pickled veggies, heaps of noodles and a generous portion of grilled chicken. Their wings were amazing! They honestly would hold their own against any restaurant that only does wings! They were sweet and salty Vietnamese flavor with just a little heat, I will say they cheated me in one wing using the wing tip does not count! Other than that take it for what it is a convenience store serving in to go boxes. But it's super fresh and flavorful which is already ahead of most fast food! the price is right, and it's just perfect for a local pickup when you don't want feel like cooking. I have yet to try the pho but am looking forward to it, I'd making it a normal stop honestly. Also nice to point out they have a small Vietnamese market inside as well, so if you need a local place to pick up fresh produce such as Thai basil, cilantro, chilies they have a decent selection for the size of their store. They also have a number of cut names e cooking products such as fish sauce and condiments! Try it out I promise there's nothing to be scared of, they're definitely breaking the mold our help of course.

Because of those experiences, this review is disappointing to write. Our recent dine-in experience was completely different. The employee who took our order came across as impatient from the start. Before I had finished ordering, he gave me the total after I mentioned my sandwich. I had to stop him to add two drinks, he sighed, asked how many, and immediately gave me another total. When I added a Goo Ball, he grabbed it, set it on the counter, rang up the new total, and again acted as though I was finished ordering before I had the chance to ask for anything else. We had actually planned to order more, but the interaction made us feel like we were inconveniencing him simply by ordering. I work in the restaurant industry myself, so I understand that everyone has bad days. Had that been the only issue, I wouldn't have taken the time to leave a review. The reason I'm writing this is what happened after we sat down. A woman who appeared to be the employee's girlfriend came into the restaurant, and his demeanor changed immediately. While he was still on the clock, she stood at the front counter by the register, and for much of the time we were there they were engaged in prolonged, intimate kissing and embracing. My girlfriend and I were seated in the booth closest to the register, only a few feet away, and she was facing them the entire time. It made her genuinely uncomfortable, and there was no way to avoid it while we were eating. At one point, a DoorDash driver came in to pick up an order. The employee briefly pointed toward the back of the restaurant, said, "Over there, man," without even looking at the driver, and then immediately went back to his girlfriend. That interaction made it clear he was still actively working while all of this was happening. To be clear, this isn't about an employee greeting their significant other. A quick hug or kiss wouldn't have bothered us. This was prolonged, intimate behavior at the front register while customers were dining, and it felt completely inappropriate for the workplace. I do want to recognize the rest of the staff because they deserve it. Everyone else was working, and the bartender was friendly, professional, and provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. We'll continue ordering DoorDash because the food has always been consistently good, but we won't be dining in at this location again. We'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the Menaul location where we've always had positive experiences. I'm not looking for compensation or anything in return. I simply hope management is made aware of what happened because one employee's conduct turned what should have been an enjoyable lunch into an uncomfortable experience.

So this was my first time ordering from cheba hut, what food I did receive was really good,…read moreespecially their sauces, it's unfortunate that like 25% of the order was not delivered . The experience was pretty mixed but the customer service from isaac was good so I maintained a 4 star review because of that. Each of my items was supposed to have guacamole, banana peppers and jalapeños, as well as notes for extra toppings. I didn't get those parts of the meal. In fact I'm glad I called and asked if I could taste some their sauces because if I didn't do that then I wouldn't have gotten any sauce! For example the house sauce and spicy ranch I ordered for the salad didn't arrive. The sauces I ordered with the meal were not delivered and the only ones I received were the extra mixture of sauces that the guy on the phone said he usually would have to charge me for but he would comp it. And it turns out he didn't get the sauces that were supposed to come with the meal and those were the only ones I got anyway. One upsetting part was that if they ran out of stuff they did not try to alert the customer and offer replacement items. I will say this, when I called about this, I got an apology and offer for free items. If I do go back to claim the items I'll let you guys know what the update is like. I think this might be the type of place that you'd want to check your order carefully and only leave once you know you are good to go. I don't recommend doing uber eats from here. I'm being really nice about the review stars because they had a couple sauces that were really good and although the business may not be organized, I think they have really yummy food and the customer service wasn't bad. So that's worth something.
