What a wonderful experience for me and my girls. Such a beautiful ride to the top of one of the Sandia Peaks. Our weather was perfect. The horses were all very gentle, and I had no anxiety with getting on the big fella. Our guide, Donald was so funny, and kept the 2-hr ride light and entertaining. We saw deer, and Donald said he rarely sees them on the rides. It was worth every penny. If you have young daughters, this is a trip of a lifetime for them. Me too.

What a fun adventure with my boyfriend! Was nice to step away from the city and all the rush. Trail ride was so peaceful and relaxing. Brought me back to my childhood!

Had a great time horse back riding here! 2 hour horse back ride in a light snow flurry. Our guide was kind & patient. The view & the scenery was beautiful!

My fiancee and I rode horses with Donald for 2hrs on an amazing trail with a panoramic view atop of a mountain. She had zero riding experience prior to this but very comfortably Donald communicated how-to's clearly. Very scenic-y (ha) throughout the trail. Aside from the great views, in terms of wild life we were fortunate enough to see a beautiful dark mule buck along the way! Not uncommon for this area I imagine. He's a very knowledgable tour guide and treated us with respect. 10/10 I would recommend coming here.

I cannot even begin to tell you guys how much fun this was! Don was awesome! Excellent tour guide - the perfect amount of history and silence when it became serene. 10/10 on the jokes as well! We did the 4 hour waterfall tour and we loved every second! A must do when you are here!

Amazing views and wonderful guide! He takes such pride in his horses and his group of riders. Fill d with jokes and knowledge. Learned all about the mountains that surround this trail and even saw some wildlife! Horses were surefooted and really were some of the best cared for that I've seen . Highly recommend!! Inexpensive and wonderful!

We stayed here a year or so ago when they first opened and were the only ones at the park, but this time the place is almost completely full! They have many fifth wheels and tow campers here that are set up for long-term with big propane tanks and such. However, I will say it is one of the neatest and clean long-term Park we've seen along this trip. We paid $47 for this one night stay plus tax for full hook ups on a pull through site. They have a very nice laundry room that has six washers and six dryers for six dollars a load. You pay for the washer in the dryer is free. There is a workout room that is attached to that building as well with some equipment, including a treadmill, an elliptical and some weights however the weight pin was stuck so you couldn't adjust the weight. There was plenty of space if you needed to do any type of Pilates video or something, lots of room for that. There are really no trees or anything here and you are next to a farm so it was nice to wake up next to the cows. We did not really hear any highway noise, although it was quite windy last night. You book online and make sure you check your email the day you arrive as you will need all of the information in that email. It isn't a typical camp where you check in at an office, you're giving all the instructions and email including the gate code to access. The map of the facility is on their website so you can locate your space that you're assigned an email. There were three different Wi-Fi connections available, but we couldn't get any of them to work. When we called they said they had been having problems for over a week, no one had come out yet and the owner has been ill or something so if you need Wi-Fi, you may want to have an alternative solution. Verizon signal was just OK If you are traveling with horses, this is your perfect stop as they have stalls for horses!

After spending several hours in a rest area I contacted the Longhorn Ranch rv park to see if we could spend the weekend there until we could get our truck repaired. They were not officially open yet but said they would accommodate us with no problem. They met us on the back of a tow truck at night and directed us into their park. We met the whole family the next morning and they offered to help us any way possible which included repairing a major water leak in our plumbing. They also made arrangements to get the part we needed to repair our truck and suggested a competent repair shop close by to do the repair for us. We can't thank them enough for all the help they provided us and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stop there next year on our way through and visit the family. If you are travelling hwy 40 and need a great place to stop please make exit 203 your place for the night in New Mexico. Thank you again. Steve and Barb.

I have boarded horses in Santa Fe since the late 1980s and have experienced a wide variety of different riding facilities in this area. I have boarded horses for more than 30 years and think the visit /interview process is necessary for all horse owners. Every place will have pros and cons based on you and your horse's needs. I was very impressed with what I saw at Trinity. Trinity has a indoor, a very large outdoor arena, standard dressage court and a round pin. The rings are well maintained. The facility has groomed trails around the property that connect with a large network of trails. Although the indoor is not large between different schedules, different disciplines, good weather, and with the consideration of others, there is always options where to ride. I board in the barn. My horses (2 now) have nice large stalls with lengthy flat well draining run-outs. The barn has a very friendly atmosphere that really helped me in my transition to New Mexico. I met with Emily Keene, the dressage trainer and observed lessons 2 times before making my choice of Trinity. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She is well educated in dressage and the bio-mechanics of the horse and rider. She also a great communicator. You couldn't ask for 3 better credentialed trainer/instructors (dressage, hunter/jumper, western). All the trainers are open, friendly and helpful, even if you are not with their program. Tim the resident manager was there to welcome and help settle my horses after cross country shipping. He is always willing to set aside time to talk about any problems or concerns. He has also been a big mental and physical support during a colic. The rock of the Trinity is Ismael (and his family), who see to the day to day care of the barn and property. It's a great team that works well

My city-mouse friend mentioned that she had always dreamed of petting a horse, so when we drove past an eclectic looking stable with gorgeous horses (seriously looks like something out of a movie), I figured it was worth a shot to see if we could meet the animals. I told my friend, "What's the worst they could say? No?" I parked my car and walked up to what looked like the main building, and I was greeted by a sleepy grey cat and outrageously cute little dog. A man that I presume is the owner followed behind the dog and asked me if I needed help. After pitching my request to him, offering money to let my friend just spend some time visiting the horses, he kindly told me that we were welcome to respectfully walk around for free. He told us we could meet any horse that came up to us, but reminded us to not feed the horses. By the looks of the horses, the man I spoke to clearly cares for these animals deeply, and I was really taken by the cleanliness and health of the horses. In the end, my friend was able to meet a horse for the first time, and my kids loved seeing the beautiful animals. They especially loved the sweet grey cat and inquisitive one-eyed horse. We will definitely be back to schedule a ride here, as I was so impressed by the animals and thankful for the kindness we were shown. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Broken Saddle!
