Everyone we've met clearly loves animals and wants the best for the ones in their care. Highly recommend adopting through AARF! Last night we went to their holiday open house and tree lighting, so we got to meet more of their volunteers, and we were treated like part of the family. Excited they'll be moving into a new and bigger space in the next few years!

We had been discussing for months on getting a new addition. Low and behold, we came across these beautiful puppies, filled out the application, and it added our name to the wait list. There was some mix up with when the puppies were born and having to wait longer to adopt. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Long story, but all worked out. We were able to bring home "Eric", now known as Baxter. He is a bundle of joy and is growing by leaps daily. I'd recommend looking for pups at this facility and other adult dogs.

We applied online this past February 2021, received a phone call in return, and then set up an appointment to meet who is now our wonderful pet. When the staff brought her out, the dog was licking them. That means the Faithful Friends staff treated her very well because our dog is sensitive and doesn't display that level of affection unless she really trusts a person. Faithful Friends ensured she was up-to-date on all the proper medications and vaccines as soon as she got to their facility. We HIGHLY recommend Faithful Friends.

Once you are approved, you can fill out your preferences and set a date a couple of days in advance to take a dog out. I loved the "Doggy Day Out" idea and had a blast! There are t-shirts you can purchase as well to wear...the idea is to get others to see the dog and ask questions in case they are interested to adopt them! I had this dog, Kingsley, for about five hours one day. We went on a long walk and then watched some TV for a while! He loved it! If you want to keep the dog overnight you can as well. They provide you with a fanny pack with some poop bags, treats, and a collapsible water bowl. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would come again!

The right side has everything for cats such as huts (average price of $80), natural toys, leashes, food, raw diet food, treat toppers, and clothing. We live about an hour and a half away from the organization, so getting a window of time to make the trip required us to move around our calendars and clear up some time. I was given no phone number or physical address. On the day we were supposed to go, I emailed the person that we would be leaving soon and to reply with the physical address. Forty-five minutes to an hour later (after we had already left for the visit) we were told that the foster parent couldn't meet us at the previously agreed upon time. I explained that we were already on our way and requested that someone call me. I was hoping we could squeeze in the meeting or at least reschedule. Sadly, we're back home now without a pup and without a phone call or explanation for the unacceptable communication. I'm sure other people have had positive experiences, but if you're from out of town, look somewhere else. There's nothing like getting your home and heart ready for a puppy and then turn around empty-handed.
