On my last visit, they were in process of some renovation upgrades to keep everything up to high standards. The staff I've talked to & required assist from have always been very helpful. This facility provides a game room, movie theatre, salon, small library nooks, a fitness room & pub for happy hour. I always see posting for events, outings & various invited performances. I've observed a very nice facility with good help &a lots of activities to keep the residents busy.

Over the past several months it has become apparent to several residents and their families this isn't a good facility to live in & we're moving our loved ones out en masse. My family has had older family members here for years & it's very sad to see what it has turned into. The current team probably does a great sales presentation to prospective residents and their families. But as far as trustworthy & competent leadership, please look elsewhere.

The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the environment was warm and inviting. My mom suffers from dementia and Pegasus Landing is giving her an opportunity to adjust to the environment and community before just locking her into a memory care wing. My mom has done amazing, she is very happy, and it is such a relief knowing she is being cared for and loved the way we want her to be. Excellent staff! After having experienced other rehab facilities, we were so grateful to have found this facility and team. Our onboarding meeting was buttoned up, informative, and covered ALL the bases. The entire team delivered wonderful, wonderful care -- a MAJOR change from where we had done rehab previously which was heartbreaking and on the verge of downright negligent. Major bonus points for the food and expansive menu, which our mom said was consistently delicious (again, unlike other places where she could barely stomach what was served). I was also so impressed with how clean the entire facility was, and how attentive they were to keeping our mom's bed + clothing + linens always clean (any accidents were dealt with IMMEDIATELY). The staff truly cares about the patients and residents. They're doing God's work, and they have wonderful hearts. You can feel at peace knowing your loved one will truly get the best care.

Her friends she made visit her daily in her apartment because she doe not go down to meals anymore.... I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, environment and culture of this caring community. From the minute you walk into Park Meadows, you are greeted by warm , friendly people at the front desk...As I walk to her apartment, residents are calm, content, very at home. Her nurses are competent, caring, professional and always welcoming as they greet me. Her care has always been above and beyond. I am sure they go way past their job descriptions to bring comfort to the residents....who could ask for more? Our family feels so lucky that we chose Park Meadows and are forever grateful

Our 92 year-old father/grandfather/father-in-law chose Parks Meadow for moving into a senior…read morefacility last Fall (2022). He eventually moved to Parks Meadow in January of 2023; however, it was recommended that he reserve his unit by paying the December 2022 rent. Unfortunately, soon after his move he became ill, hospitalized and passed away in mid-February, 2023. His stay at Park Meadows was only 3 1/2 weeks (late January to mid-February). The family paid March rent as we needed time to remove his belongings from the unit. In all, we paid 4 month's rent for his short stay. Another part of his "singing" up for Park Meadows was a "one time non-refundable" Community Fee - in this case $10,000 listed on page 40 of a 52-page lease agreement. It was explained that the Community Fee would lower his rent over his stay at Park Meadows. The family requested that Park Meadows refund at least part of the Community Fee. as his unit was only used a short time and he did not get a chance to use dining or any other facility amenities. Obviously, the family is very disappointed, and surprised, on the position Park Meadows is taking. Although there is no legal recourse, we find it unethical for Park Meadows to keep all of the "Community Fee" as his residence was so short in time. In speaking to the business officer at the facility, she could only say "it's out of my hands" and "I completely understand". In the end, it feels like a 92 year old man was taken advantage of with a very long and detailed lease agreement and an insensitive corporate entity.

My mother in law has been at SHSL for 2 months now and so far so good. Both she and I would give…read morethe location a solid 4 stars. As many senior locations there is many things to do: * many nice sitting areas, * a well stocked library * a couple computers with a printer * a small movie theatre that shows 2 movies per day * a large dining area with new items daily * walking path outside. * multiple clubs for residents * happy hour entertainment events * you can have small pets * vans with rides and events * help me buttons included for residents * clean the room every week Checking with Mom she likes it so far. The food menu in the dining room rotates often and so far has been pretty tasty (we have eaten 2lunches and 2 diners). Areas to improve: --The wait staff in the dining area is pleasant but understaffed. At times there are long waits to get served and I have seen residents raising their hands to get staff attention. *the staff in dining room are friendly and helpful but they get overwhelmed at times* -- mom had a small engineering request we put in on Thursday and as of Monday we have not heard of any reply. All in all we are happy with the location... her one bedroom with all meals etc is a bit pricey at $3200 per month but so far it is worth it to see her happy and content.

Shawnee Hills is a beautiful, cozy community that seems like it is rural because of the views to…read morethe north. Close to shopping amd highway as well...the staff is attentive and they care about the residents and community. They are Independent Living, but have home health services if needed and also on- site physical therapy. Shawnee Hills is a very lovely place to be!
