We are now moving out of state so we called to cancel the service. We immediately saw that our credit card was dinged an additional $210.00. When we called to inquire about the extra charge we were told that we had been charged a discounted rate. Upon terminating the service we became liable for the discount. They said the terms were outlined in small print at the bottom of the page we signed at the time we initiated the service. I believe this charge is illegal.

When you finally cancel service because of all the things I listed above, they turn around and tack on an extra fee called "ESCROW" charges where that is not listed anywhere on the contract/agreement you signed! Horrible, Horrible business if you ask me! I am disputing these charges as I type this review! Unacceptable! I come with receipts! Brent - I have 6 people in my house while you guys are mowing my yard. They're not there long enough for us to make contact with your employees. What happened to getting quality checks after the work was done, that stopped? I had no problems paying for the services, I've been with you guys for over a year, and I stuck by you guys because at first the work was great, but now its more about quantity then quality. After multiple calls and texts, he finally showed up but refused to commit to any timelines and eventually stopped responding altogether. On top of that, many of my neighbors in the Crescent Hills community frequently complain about his work, citing poor quality and unreliable service. I ended up hiring Kyle at KTS Improvements instead and highly recommend you do the same. Greg overpromises but doesn't deliver--his work is subpar, and his customer service is terrible. Answering calls and following through shouldn't be that hard.

They also repaired out gravel that let weeds take over our yard. It has been several months since they performed their most compete yard care and no more weeds. They were extremely reasonable in their rate and guaranteed that if any problems occurred to contact them immediately and they would stand behind their work. Again they were the only one who responded to our request for landscaping service (one company did give us a date and time and never showed up or called us). I would highly recommend their service. He designed the hedge to visually decrease the impact of the building without destroying our view of the mountain range behind our home...no small feat. In March 2024, I handed my landscape architect's plans to José Robles, to bid. He presented me with a quote of $80,000, promising that the job would be completed in eight weeks. With enthusiasm and trust, I signed the contract and paid a 50% deposit, and told by Jose he had to have 60% down to purchase all materials immediately, even though the job wouldn't begin for another 14 days. I believed I was making a sound investment in my vision and I felt good about giving project to Patriot/Jose, a family that served in the USA military, as Jose told me his adoption story and all about his foster father who served our country. As the eight-week mark came and went, my excitement turned to anxiety. The job was far from complete, and my concerns grew louder. When I confronted José about the deposit, he admitted to using my hard-earned money on other projects, promising to do his best to get my job finished as soon as possible. His words were hollow as months dragged on with minimal progress and countless broken promises. In my quest for answers, I reached out to vendors who carried similar products I had chosen, only to discover that Patriot Landscaping was not to be trusted. Desperate to move the project forward, I took matters into my own hands and purchased the materials myself. However, I was forced to make major compromises, settling for what was available locally instead of the carefully selected items I had chosen and José had assured me that my preferred materials were on order, but as I discovered it turned out to be a lie; none of the suppliers would accept his order. Despite deducting the cost of these materials from the remaining balance, the job remained unfinished. Frustrated and heartbroken, I ultimately took Patriot Landscaping to small claims court and won a judgment for over $15,000, plus 6% interest. Yet, even after this victory, they have made no genuine effort to communicate or settle the payment. In summary, I urge anyone considering the services of José Robles and Patriot Landscaping to tread carefully. My experience has been riddled with distress, financial loss, and the emotional turmoil of wanting to be a good client while facing continued letdowns while watching him drive up in his brand new Tesla, new truck and new trailer that he purchased during this time.
