The rug doctor was fairly easy to use but quite big and bulky so takes a bit of work. You normally have to go over an area twice-as the second time gets rid of any excess cleaning solution that is left on the carpet. I found overall that the rug doctor freshens up the carpet and smells really clean and nice, but it doesnt do a great job of getting rid of marks and stains. When you empty the water at the end its really dirty so it obviously does clean, I just expected it to be better. It can be hired from loads of places, I got it from morrisons.

It costs just over a fiver to get re-heeling done, and I've never been in without being able to collect the shoes about 30 minutes later. Basically, it gives you enough time to pop off for a coffee, take in the world, and pop back again before going about your day. Of course, if you need keys cut, and the various other cobbler odd jobs, they're ready to provide good service for that too. They're always smiling, they're cheap and cheerful, they're fantastic and I've them to thank for not having to buy new shoes. It's always a pleasure.
