There were moments where I didn't feel as well guided or covered as I would expect during a professional massage. -When it came time to pay she said it was cash only, which I didn't have. She said I could go to the ATM next door. I was able to Zelle her so it worked out, but the process felt cumbersome.

This is huge to me - I want to give my business to businesses that treat their staff well! I have chronic upper back pain and I received a referral from my doctor but - per insurance requirements - the prescription is adhered to strictly to comply with their provider expectations. If there are areas you'd like massaged but do not have a prescription for, my doctor was happy to provide me an updated prescription when I explained what I was experiencing in other areas of my body. I currently see Brianna for deep tissue work. She works quickly but thoroughly and always seems to find the right pressure for the areas that can tolerate more or less. I recently broke my foot and she talked with me to understand how to best accommodate my injury while making sure I have a relaxing experience where she can address my back pain. I've seen her a few times since and she always makes sure the table has the bolster on it before I lay down to protect my foot, and she has worked around it incredibly well. I always book her a few months out because she's so wonderful! Kaila at the front desk is the highlight of my week! She's always so friendly while I'm waiting or paying my copay and is able to explain billing questions to me thoroughly. The therapists always have big smiles when they are talking with her as well which shows me I'm not the only one who thinks she's wonderful. :) Booking here can be tricky but I chalk that up to their quality service, consistency, and professionalism. I brought up that both of my appointments have been cancelled within 24 hours (more same day cancellation) and that the office is not making any efforts to help resolve the issue. The office manager did not express any regret and she was not even apologetic and showed no signs of good customer service. What is the point of making an appointment if they continue to be unreliable like this? This is by far one of the worst customer service I have ever received, especially at a service oriented business.

He claimed he responded, and told me to "log into Contact Us" to find his response which again, was really weird and almost felt like he was messing with me. I explained to him that website contact forms don't work that way, and after a few unproductive back and forths - there is yet to be a solution. Now about the experience: While the therapist was kind and welcoming, there were several concerning issues: Un-safe massage + language barrier: Despite repeatedly telling the therapist she was hurting me and asking her to go lighter, she did not adjust. At one point, she used a translation device on her phone, but even after that, the pressure remained too intense. She mostly used her elbows and forearms directly on my spine and scapula, which was extremely painful and did not feel safe. There was also a point where she rubbed her forearm across my neck horizontally, which was not only dangerous but was not relaxing in the slightest. Stretching Concerns: I am hypermobile (very flexible), 112lbs, and without asking permission, the therapist sat on my back (guessing she is somewhere in the range of 160+), had me hold her wrists, and pulled me far past a comfortable range. I was in pain and had no way to make her to stop, given that she had my arms pulled back...and strained my back in the process.l Equipment and Comfort: The plastic face pillow did not fit properly, forcing my neck into an awkward angle throughout the session. Either my chin jutted out while my eyes were squished, or my mouth and nose were squished but my eyes were ok. lol Both options put my head at a weird angle and the pillow was really firm. It honestly looked like a toddler toilet seat cover and was such a weird shape. The sanitary cover used was nothing more than a rough paper towel that kept slipping, causing my face to rest directly on the uncomfortable plastic surface. Payment Process: At checkout, I tried to show the therapist a website promotion for $10 off this month from the company's website, but she did not understand. She kept asking about the tip, then FaceTimed (presumably) the owner, and did not know how to operate the credit card machine. Like at all. I ended up assisting her with the transaction, navigating the device for her, and had to show her where to find completed transactions. I could see how this situation might make other clients feel pressured or uncomfortable. I was mind boggled that she had no idea how to run a payment. I left the massage in significant pain and had significant visual bruising on my back and pain in my lower spine that has been going on for 4 days. I ended up at urgent care where the Dr was able to confirm that my back was strained by the massage. This review is not exaggerated or inflammatory, it's literally what happened. In my inital email, I expressed my concerns about safety and pain and asked for a refund...yet no solution has been presented from the business's side. I will update if that changes.

In the 24 hours leading up to our appointment, I received multiple calls confirming our time slot (7:30pm) and the type of massage we wanted. 3 hours before our appointment, I received another call asking if we could come "now", which was at 4:30pm, because someone wanted the 7:30pm slot. I should have canceled right then and there. My partner and I already had plans and wanted to keep our original time. I was told "no problem". Upon arrival, we were informed that the couples room was already booked and that we would need to receive our massages separately. Wanting to salvage our evening, we agreed. My partner was taken behind a curtain in the lobby, and I was taken into what appeared to be a security surveillance room, with multiple computer monitors displaying camera footage. There was no dim lighting or relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. During my massage, my masseuse repeatedly stopped to check her phone, watch reels/TikToks and she left the room multiple times with the door wide open while I was half-dressed. The massage was extremely rough, bending and stretching me into painful positions, and when I spoke up about it, my discomfort was laughed off. Mid-session, another woman entered to ask how I was paying, whether it was my first visit, and if I wanted cupping. The price was again confirmed at $112. After I declined cupping, she began instructing my masseuse on how to perform it anyway. When we checked out, I was told the total was about $143, which was definitely not the agreed price and certainly not reflective of the experience. After back and forth, and exchanging translations through an app, the total was changed to $120-something. At that point, not wanting to further escalate or ruin the rest of our evening, it was paid and we left. This was meant to be a relaxing Valentine's Day experience. Instead, it felt disorganized, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. I won't be returning.
