Went to check out the spring flea market and lucked out with a great parking spot right across the…read morestreet. Paid my $5 admission and had to go to the restroom... expecting to see port-a-potties, I was happy to see a big sign indicating the orange building were restrooms. Easily spotted up ahead, indoor plumbing, clean with plenty of stalls and multiple spots to wash hands. For an outdoor venue, this made me quite happy. There are vendors galore at the flea market and something for everyone. Arrive early for the best finds and to be sure you have time to see everything because there are so many items on display. Many vendors are open to making a deal even! A few food vendors on site as well in case you get hungry for breakfast, lunch, snack or beverages but I'd like to see more options in the future. Bring cash although there are a few who accept Venmo, just don't count on it. Otherwise, it's a great place to spend a few hours and find things you may or may not know you needed!

You can pay extra for early bird entry, otherwise the gates open at 7a for general admission. They have a few food vendors but could work to get a couple more on site, especially if you are planning to spend all day there. I've been coming here for a number of years and love meandering through all the booths.

This has the potential to be a great event. I think there are some kinks that need to be worked…read moreout. I was a vendor and it seemed easy enough to sign up. I just found it a bit odd that all communication was done through Instagram. All the events I've done, the people in charge always email out information regarding the event instead of just using Instagram (or some other social media platform) because not everyone uses Instagram or Facebook. I understand that in this day in age, it's more likely than not that people have social media but it shouldn't be assumed that have it. The person who put on the event asked me for some info so she could do an Instagram post to help promote us. I sent so pretty basic info but nothing was posted. Thanks for the publicity. There was a vehicle that was parked in one of the vendor spots. No one moved the car so the vendor was unable to set up her booth. She ended up leaving and not staying for the whole event because the person putting on the event initially was rude to her and didn't try to help solve the situation that the vendor had no control over. It was not cheap to sign up as a vendor and being a small business, paying $100+ for a spot and not being able to stay and make enough to at least cover the cost of the spot is ridiculous. The whole Situation could be handled better. And there was definitely a lot of the same vendors (used clothing) and not a lot of variety. I wish there was a variety of vendors - it may have drawn a more wide range of clientele. So overall, I don't know if I would recommend this event, to be a vendor at or to shop at.

On paper this event sounds good, but unfortunately the organizer is painfully inexperienced. The…read morevendor experience is rough to say the least. Do yourself a favor and give your booth fee to an organizer that actually respects you and your time.
