Paid my $5 admission and had to go to the restroom... expecting to see port-a-potties, I was happy to see a big sign indicating the orange building were restrooms. Easily spotted up ahead, indoor plumbing, clean with plenty of stalls and multiple spots to wash hands. For an outdoor venue, this made me quite happy. There are vendors galore at the flea market and something for everyone. Arrive early for the best finds and to be sure you have time to see everything because there are so many items on display. Many vendors are open to making a deal even! A few food vendors on site as well in case you get hungry for breakfast, lunch, snack or beverages but I'd like to see more options in the future. Bring cash although there are a few who accept Venmo, just don't count on it. Otherwise, it's a great place to spend a few hours and find things you may or may not know you needed!

You can pay extra for early bird entry, otherwise the gates open at 7a for general admission. They have a few food vendors but could work to get a couple more on site, especially if you are planning to spend all day there. I've been coming here for a number of years and love meandering through all the booths.

Its heavy attended volume is well deserved; lots of interesting stalls line the ground floor, from coffee and candy to bbq and Thai. I wouldn't say it could replace regular grocery shopping; it's more like a fancy spot to shop for artisan goods like cured meats, sweet treats, baked goods, and other accoutrement. Plenty of seating on the open second floor (also a good spot to take photos of the market) if you want to eat there; otherwise grab some delicious food to go and enjoy the surrounding neighborhood!

That was perfect since we were only going to be there for a few minutes while we had some shaved ice. The market offers everything from cheese, seafood, pasta etc. as well as many restaurants to choose from. We were in the mood for something cold on a hot summer day and Chillwaukee hit the spot. We finished our shaved ice and headed back to our car. We thought we had plenty of time to make it out of the parking lot in less than 30 minutes. When we got in the line to exit there were only 4 cars ahead of us with 5 minutes left of time. No problem, I thought. I was wrong. When it was my turn to exit I was told I had to pay for an hour of parking even though we were only over by a few seconds!! When I explained that I had been in line for 5 minutes, the attendant said that the same thing had happened to other customers before me and that there was nothing he could do about it. I would agree if I had shown up one minute late and there was no line to leave. Other than the parking situation, I enjoyed my short visit to the market.

Lots of animals for sale, including chickens, other birds, turtles, and fish, but this wouldn't be the place I'd get a pet (adopt!!) There are some food stalls (we got paletas), and portapotty type bathrooms. The whole setup is on a gravel lot, and the parking lot was a bit washed out by yesterday's rain: some huge puddles. Plan your footwear accordingly! Vendors all prefer smaller bills, so if you can break those $20s from the ATM before you get here, so much the better. Overall, an interesting shopping experience. I found a dress, a charging cable for my cell phone and a miniature chicken mole magnet for less than $40.

This is a fairly large outdoor flea market and I have always been able to find things that I wanted and didn't always need. For me it's just the experience of wandering around but it's a bonus when you can find something worth buying. One of the great things is it's only $5 to park and then you just walk around. We were there for a couple hours or more and walked through the entire place trying to see everything available. We did find quite a few items as we walked the first row of stalls that we ended up coming back to again before we left. In the end every one of us had bought something. I bought something for my one kid, and there were several spots that were selling very similar food items, and I picked up some dried peppers to use in cooking and to try my hand at making some spicy olive oil. While we were walking about we also stopped and had a bite to eat at one of the stalls. There are quite a few options for food here as well and we randomly picked one and got some tacos. All the sellers that we spoke to were very friendly and had some really good deals on a wide variety of products. This is a fun one for pretty much anyone who enjoys flea markets.
