It's not a big spot, but they jam packed the floors, ceilings and shelves with as much merchandise as they could! Given the amount of merch, they did a good job laying it out, but even with the good layout, the space gets tight when they get busy.. We swung by in search of Nashville shirts for the family back home and this place was perfect. They have a wall of shirts from all varieties and sizes for adults and children. In addition to the shirts, other types of clothing they sold were socks, hoodies and hats. Outside of clothing you could get a lot of other cool local sourced goods such as jewelry, art and even food, such as honey, sauces and snacks. They had all the basic items such as magnets, mugs, koozies, signs, keychains, etc...and they even had stuff for your doggos! Overall, it was a cool little souvenir shop that I am 100% positive will provide you with enough options for that perfect gift for a loved one, or yourself to remind you of Nashville!

The blocks occupied feel like its own little community in the middle of the bigger city. It definitely has it's own vibe and is uniquely East Nashville. When we are in East, we normally make it point to stop in a shop or two. International Coffee, Galena Garlic and Adobe Mercantile are usually spots we frequent when wandering around, and Gift Horse is a cool place for a quirky or local gift for folks. Food wise, Maru and East Creamery are always on point and hit the spot! Hours of each shop differ, so make sure you look specifically at the hours of the places you want to visit. There is no real consistency amongst the shops from an overall hours perspective, which can be a tad frustrating. Parking is a bit wonky as well, nothing really dedicated at all times. There are a few pay lots nearby and street parking is plentiful in the area. Overall, Shoppes on Fatherland is a cool East community and is a good spot to spend a little time when you have nothing going on. It's always an after or before dinner/drink place for us.

The worker was very helpful and patient when I was trying to decide on my chosen scent. I landed on house of mystery as my favorite but it was really so hard to choose. They offer little classes in the back which I did not get to experience myself but sounded really fun and I may have to try in the future. Many of the sellers here are offering original creations - some repurposed, some recycled and given new life, and more. For example, their t-shirts were over $20 and Nashville caps cost around $30. But to be honest, I saw that the only Downtown Walgreens charged similar prices for Nashville caps. As far as selection, I am a fan. They provide a grand array of gifts from t-shirts to place mats. As for me, I am a magnet collector, and purchased a Nashville magnet to add to my refrigerator collection. In hindsight I would've purchased a Nashville book mark. Just like a popular honky-tonk, Nashville Gifts was extraordinarily busy in similar style to Legends Gifts across the street. I am not a fan of crowds. On our last full day in Nashville when my Dad and Brother returned to pick up more souvenirs, I waited outside on Broadway taking in the horse drawn carriages with the AT&T Tower towering above the historic streetscape. Due to solid management, the long lines moved fast with good customer service that included the clerk wrapping up my magnet.
