This park is located in Celebration by the downtown area and overall, is a pleasant park that fits in this community nicely. The park has tennis courts, a basketball court, a walking path, a community pool and more. It is extremely appealing visually and really is a nice place to escape the stress of the dauly grind. If you want to be in the heart of Celebration, look no further than Celebration Lakeside Park. Located in downtown Celebration on the shores of Lake Rianhard, the lake is named after Richard "Dick" Rianhard, a beloved local resident who pioneered several of Celebration's organizations including a fishing program for children. he is remembered for being a cheerful neighbor who left a lasting impact on the community. Designed by The Walt Disney Company in the 1990s, the park serves as Celebration's main recreational hub. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, and playgrounds. Many of these facilities require a resident key and are reserved for Celebration residents who pay community fees. Visitors, however, are welcome to enjoy the rocking chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas, and the scenic wooden boardwalk that circles the lake. Keep an eye out for the park's resident alligator, which is occasionally spotted along the shoreline. Just steps away, you'll find downtown Celebration's charming shops and a variety of restaurants. The park also hosts numerous festivals and community events throughout the year, including Independence Day celebrations, Founders Day, the Embrace of Celebration Music Festival, Battle of the Food Trucks, Once Upon a Magic Market, the Celebration Farmers Market, holiday parades, and seasonal runs. It also serves as the starting point for town-wide 5K races and the staging area for the community's Veterans Day Parade. During my visit, I enjoyed strolling along the lakeside boardwalk and taking in the peaceful scenery. Unfortunately, the lawn had been recently fertilized with what smelled like horse manure, and the odor was overwhelming. I love this park! While the play area is actually behind a metal fence for residents' privacy, it's connected to a path that circles the town's three main lakes. There's a large field adjacent to the area used for festivals and other local events, as well as tons of public benches separated by hedges to provide a little privacy. Because of the proximity to downtown, the animals here are used to lots of foot traffic and are incredibly friendly...or at least love getting an easy meal in exchange for a couple of cute encounters. There are signs that say not to feed the alligators or squirrels, but it's probably not well-followed. Another perk is the available bike rentals for anyone that doesn't have their own! I haven't personally needed them, but I see them being used all the time. Personally, I miss the electric scooters and hope they reinstall them again! As a side note, parking nearby requires a parking decal, so try to park along the streets of downtown or residential areas to avoid any issues. Otherwise, this place is amazing and a great way to start exploring the area. read more

What a wonderful, relaxing park. It's beautifully landscaped with paved walking paths that take you right alongside the lake. Bring a picnic basket and take a leisurely stroll. Bring a book and have a seat on one of the many benches. If you're in the mood for some exercise, it's a great place for a jog. If you're looking for some peace and quite and want to get away from Disney for a while, this is a great place to visit. While you must be members for the kiddies to play in the park, bring some toys along and they'll have a great time romping through the perfectly manicured grass. You might just even come across a family of ducks like we did, so you may want to bring some extra bread with you. This is also a perfect, romantic place to catch a sunrise or a sunset. read more

What a lovely little park in a bustling area of town. This park has lots going on for it: 1. It is near a whole host of restaurants and cafes. 2. There is an adorable little boardwalk. Tiny. Teeny weeny, really. But it's great for the creative types who want to get a closer look at the water. 3. It is full of life. Adorable turtles, dragonflies, ducks -- loved the budding lilies, too. Despite being in a very busy area, there are many quite enclaves for a picnic or quite time away. Would also recommend for meditation. Great for children, families and couples. read more

There are ducklings and other animals hanging out! It is perfect. This is right across the street from the Main Street of Celebration. 2mile round trip walking path. Nice paved walking path, great for casual stroll. There is plenty of seating benches along the path, it goes in about 1mile(1way) if you go all the way. Its quite nice, you'll see plenty of turltes in the water, birds i cant even name, dragon flies flying in groups across the paths, intresting black/red grass hoppers, and if you're lucky a little gator. There are also signs that there are racoons, possums, and foxes. There is also a few doggy bag stations and trash cans. Over all great place to sit and relax, and walk ur dog. read more

This park is very nice at night! There is a path that walks around the lake that's lit up so you don't get lost or end up in the lake. There is a small splash zone, which I found unexpected, a small area with rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the water, or to relax, and plenty of dining and bar options nearby. From ice cream, to Italian, coffee, Mexican, and shopping! On Thursday, some parking may be limited due the street being blocked off for events, but this area is great for date night or family time! read more

Celebration's parks are top notch - it's a very beautiful community, but the ability to walk around a lake that's always clean brings it to the next level. This is a very relaxing park with a lot of wildlife. The alligators are not animatronic, apparently they have issues with people believing they (and other wildlife) are. There are a lot of events here, so watch for that. There is a farmer's market on Sunday that has different booths depending on when you go - there are off days and on days. The pool is lovely, and I've never seen it crowded. It's open to residents only, so you won't be able to visit the pool unless you've got a Celebration ID. read more

Are used to go to this park all the time before Covid but I went today they were a group of at least 20 middle-aged women and their children I'll congregating in one area taking up the grass taking up to sidewalks making it impossible for anyone to walk past without getting in 6 feet of them and not a single one of them had masks and I politely asked them to put masks on and to move to one side so people can pass and they were very aggressive towards me I made it around the lake and a woman started following me in your car videotaping me being very aggressive I felt completely unsafe and I will never be going there again thank goodness I have my dog there to help protect me because Four of them surrounded my car almost making it impossible for me to leave I called the police and they said that it would be A very long time before anyone would be dispatched there because all their dispatchers were on separate calls. Natural walking path with plenty of wildlife here. Armadillo, cranes, turtles, and yes I have even spotted some gators here too. Lily pods in abundance and plenty of sidewalks and Boardwalks-- some deeply shaded for comfort.
