I went to MBeauty Studio for my first-ever full set of lashes. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful--clean, calming, and very aesthetically pleasing. That's the main reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. I booked a next-day morning appointment with the only tech available at the time. As a first-timer, I was a little confused and surprised that no consultation was offered before starting. I shared clear reference photos of what I wanted--light, fluffy, wispy lashes with that spiky, anime-inspired texture. Unfortunately, what I received was a short, curled, clustered lash line that didn't resemble the look I had requested. While I didn't speak up in the moment due to anxiety, part of me felt there wasn't much point if the tech wasn't capable of delivering the style and there was no one else available to fix it. My eyes were very sore afterward, and the entire experience felt uncomfortable. For the high price, it just didn't feel worth it. I also believe there's a responsibility on the part of ownership and management in any beauty studio to ensure that all techs are trained to a consistent level of talent and artistry--especially when offering premium services. That consistency is key to a positive client experience, and sadly, it was missing in my case. I had been considering them for nano brows, but after this, I'll likely look elsewhere.

I sat in a massage chair and Rose brought me bottled water. Soon enough, a nail tech (I didn't get her name) appeared to begin. She was very good at her job and everything was fresh from a new package, all very clean. The music was relaxing. I just relaxed as she massages and soaked and cleaned up my feet. I watched as customer we welcomed as friends and left happy. This place has a wonderful vibe. In fact, I sat drying my nails so long, I almost forgot to leave for my errands! We called to ask if she would be able accommodate three of us on a Saturday afternoon, and she was able to squeeze us in with very short notice. The first thing I noticed is that her salon is very clean, bright and spacious, with no chemical smells at all. I loved all of the plants, flowers and cute elephant decor. There are a large selection of colors - I didn't really know what I wanted for my manicure and Rose helped me try on a few options before deciding on a base and design. She is thorough, skillful and detail-oriented. I loved how my nails turned out! Rose and her staff are super kind and personable as well. She really goes above and beyond for her customers and I can't recommend her salon enough!
