Barbaro. That place was high pressure, they kept trying to make me purchase everything in the shop after learning my Husband was a physician. When I said I would have him come back, the "Owner" a Tall man with a heavy accept, replied " His job is to make the money, your job is to spend it" I didn't laugh, I ran out the door. At Bridal Expos and online, you usually get bombarded with the chain Menswear places to do your business with for your wedding day (like I did). The styles at these places were bland and I wanted something different. I stumbled upon Sam Michael's and from my first visit (of probably 5 or 6 in total), I was hooked! Walking in here for the first time, I didn't know what to expected. I explained that I was getting married, and 8 groomsmen and 2 parents that needed suits. I was sat down and shown all of my different rental options, which included suits, tuxes, pants, ties, shoes and other accessories. So many decisions, but I was granted the ability to stay there and think carefully, but also explained to that I can change it as many times as I want up to a month or so before the wedding date. Attached are some pictures of the suit I picked for myself and my groomsmen. It was a brand new suit in their inventory that they personally owned, as well as the color choice for my accents (pocket square and tie). Michael and team were very professional through the entire process. We had multiple texts and phone calls back and forth during my moving of our wedding date as well as when my accent color was discontinued. After the wedding was all said and done, I was granted a $500 shopping spree on a suit set of my choice. That was really exciting and I got a nice blue, checkered patterned suit. Initially the suit was advertised to me as "slightly more expensive" but better quality and service than competitors. After we allocated our wedding finances after we got married, at Sam Michael's, I actually spent LESS than what I budgeted and LESS than a competitor I was initially going to go with. Totally worth it here! Thank you Mike and team for everything! I felt like family every time I walked in. No errors or resizing for any of us during our pick ups.

Not only did they hem my dress in time (it was ready by Thursday), but the detailing was beautiful and the length was PERFECT. I walked down the aisle with ease! He could have charged me double for it being such late notice, but he charged me the regular going-rate to hem my four layer dress. My dad told me about this store so we decided to give it a shot. The store is crazy busy inside because they have amazing deals. Even though it was busy, this gentleman measured him and got him in a suit so fast. He tried on another blue one with a slightly different color and chose that one. The gentleman told him to pick out any ahirt and tie as well. We weren't sure what the price was so we asked. He said it was $139 for the whole suit, tie, and shirt. The only additional charge is any alterations. It only cost $15 for the alterations though. He said it will be ready on Wednesday for pickup any time. We are so excited. Our experience with this custom men's clothing shop was extremely disappointing. We ordered a…read morecustom suit 3 months in advance and made 10 or more trips to the store for fittings, expecting that the extra time and attention would result in a properly made suit. Unfortunately, the original suite was altered so many times that it looked worse each time we returned. Despite all the fittings and alterations, the suit had to be scrapped, and they ran out of time to make another one. They even lost a pair of pants we needed altered too!!!! What was even more troubling was that the owner ultimately tried to give us clothing from the back room and a NON custom suit while still charging us for a custom made suit. That was completely unacceptable and not what we paid for. The customer service was equally disappointing. We did not see or hear from the original salesman after the first visit. On one visit, while we were there dealing with ongoing problem with the suit, the owner helped someone else, who simply walked in and left us waiting for 45 minutes, we found this extremely rude and disrespectful, especially considering how much time and money my entire family had already invested. A custom clothing experience should involve professionalism and respect for all customers. Unfortunately , we expereinced none of those. We gave this business more than enough time and opportunities to make things right and instead the experience was extremely frustrating right before our daughter's wedding. We would NOT recommend this business!!!!! The service and workmanship should be substantially better!!!!!!
