So for whatever reason my brain read the address as being on West NORTH Ave when it was actually on north WESTERN Ave. Derrrrp ‍ I've lived here all my life (currently near BOTH Western & North avenues which I use FREQUENTLY too! ... go figure) and I STILL don't know how that happened ‍ I had realized My mistake when I was on the north Ave bus around Elston Ave and it was 5 minutes before my appointment was supposed to happen!! At that point I had resigned to the idea of having my card charged the no-show fee of half the price of the service I scheduled myself for ($100) and just having to eat it because it was my stupid fault when my phone rang and it was the lady who was waiting for me to show up. I apologized and told her what derpy thing I'd done getting on the wrong bus and that my job as a professional pet stylist ALSO relies on people showing up when they're supposed to and how it really bones up our day when they don't so I'm not upset about the fee in any way whatsoever. She was so nice too. I could tell this had happened with other clients of hers in the past because of how she tried to nicely explain why they had to charge the no-show fee, and had a sense of "please don't yell at me" in her voice. I know EXACTLY what that is like having to have that exact convo with someone using that exact voice in my own business. So I assured her I was not upset, admitted again that I knew it was all my own fault and that I'd re-book on the website before thanking her and hanging up. As I got BACK on the bus (which to my surprise came very quickly believe it or not) my phone rang AGAIN from the salon!! It was the same lady and she actually said if I could get there within a half hour she could still juuuuussst fit me in still!! F YEAH!! I told her that I was at the mercy of the CTA but that since the bus back toward western had come quickly I actually might be able to do that! She was so nice and just reminded me it couldn't be but a minute later since she had other clients after me, and I said I'd do my best. WELL... once I got to western and stepped up to the bus stop there I SAW THE BUS ACTUALLY COMING MY WAY!! I was delighted at first, then after getting on I realized it was an express bus that wouldn't be stopping at Augusta OR Iowa so I started to panic a bit as it was less than 5 mins before I had to be there!! When the bus stopped at Chicago though I RAN LIKE I WAS BEING CHASED BY THE CHICAGO MOTHMAN HIMSELF and got there JUST as the clock "struck midnight" so to say. And the nice woman was right there waiting for me too. She showed me to my seat where she'd already set up and I started borderline violently ripping my coat and other winter gear off while thanking and explaining to her that I totally understand because my job works the same way and that I knew she'd need to begin ASAP in order to keep her schedule on time. She really was awesome (and I friggin WISH I could remember her name because she needs an award immediately) and said I could take my time and all that. But like I've said I know how it works and knew that was her just doing her job and being polite. She asked me what Style/length/shape I wanted to which I replied "STRIPPER BIG" and she laughed in a way that acknowledged that she understood the assignment precisely. So I hopped in the chair and before I knew it she was DONE! And not RUSHED done either.... She took her time, made sure I didn't feel a thing, and KILLED IT!! To top it off she gave me a little box with some eyelash brushes to keep them all aligned, and in my line of work: to get the dog hair out of them at the end of the day, AND instructions on what face stuff to use/not use to lengthen their longevity. SUCH a DELIGHTFUL human... I'm telling you!! A friggin PLUS PLUS! If I figure out her name (which I'll have to when I see her for my fill-in soon) I'll come back to update this review. I've had the Eyelash classic sets and love the work every single time. Their attention to detail and experts are fantastic!

Let me start with I LOVE Rabi and how she does lashes. She is very gentle and takes her time but she's out of town A LOT. You may book her then you'll arrive to the appt and it's someone else. The appts always start late or they'll put someone else in your spot and make you sit and wait. Valentyna, again does good work, but she often has an emergency and ALWAYS ALWAYS runs late for her appts. She is not gentle when doing lashes and not very professional. She may cancel on you minutes before your appt even after you've already arrived. If you can handle this uncertainty then go with them but I'd rather have someone I can count on. read more

Been coming here for quite a few months but initially it was recommended by a fellow hairstylist friend. I would highly recommend Celebrity Lashes to anyone who's looking for an elevated lash service. Personally, I haven't had any of the other services done but the photos of the manicures and makeup look amazing! The initial lash application did take a couple of hours but I was super happy with the outcome. I was also quite pleased to find that the lashes lasted more than 2 weeks. I have issues with having allergies and itchy eyes, and I directly messaged the instagram to inquire at first with any questions I had and she recommended they use the allergy friendly glue which i've never had before! I was worried that it wouldn't last as long but it did! Every refill I have had still does take a few hours but just be prepared for that, IT IS WORTH IT! read more

This is the best lash studio in Chicago. I have had three different artists prior to finding celebrity lashe. Rabiga has done my sets a few times now. She is very sweet and talented. She has hands like a butterfly. The experience is gentle and the environment is relaxing. I get 3D volume sets. I came in to a beautiful interior space, and was greeted with a smile. I wish she had introduced herself or confirmed my name and that probably would have gotten us to a better start. I suppose I could have done that myself but got super absorbed with the fact that I drove down Damen thinking it was Western and ran late because of my own mix up. In any event we had a lack of communication. I showed her pictures of the mega volume job my sister did on me and let her know the curl type, thickness, and length look I wanted done. She should have confirmed what I had booked for and that was for a mega volume lash fill. She had also asked me if I wanted my lashes removed which I did for the ones that were outgrown, which I thought was odd but didn't question it because I was a new client and just thought they had a different process here. She interpreted this as I wanted them all removed. So we went about thinking our own thing. I never had my lashes removed with a liquid before either and had to wash my eyes which stung but didn't want to be insulting and thought she might have questioned my confusion. In any event she did an amazing job, and we of course had an issue with the bill and pricing because of our own interpretation of what removal meant. I believe if there is anything that there is an extra cost for that should be something that should be discussed prior. It's like when you go to a restaurant and you want to swap a side for something more than the standard and there is an up charge they tell you this. In any case, I believe the prices are fair and the work done is excellent. I would come back but I feel like we ended things awkwardly. read more

I love the work here of Valentina. Also her staff is amazing. I got my nails done here too and it's real gel and very pretty and clean! The salon is very beautiful!!! White leather and nice mirrors! Amazing to see her growth as I was her client since she was working from home. Very fast and I get a good nap in. Make sure you are on time!!! I like my lashes long and full of volume. I am a lash addict and cannot go without my extensions and I put no one above Valentina and her passion for lashes . I've been visiting her now for over a year and make trips to Chicago just to get fills (normally by the time I get them it's a new set) but nonetheless she is very skilled and her sets last anywhere between 6weeks - 8weeks . As I'm writing this review it's already been 5 days and I haven't had a single fan fall out . Her specialty is MEGA volume so if you like long, dramatic and FULL lashes, she is the person for you.
