Reforcing why I DO NOT recommend Yonnie service at all. I got very disappointed with my results. I have my left eyebrow way higher than the right one with clearly missed spots. Combined it with her negative attitude when I tried to discuss the issue with her made me give her 0 Star review. I stopped trying to ask her to fix it bc I didn't want to stress myself after her bad atitude and "the fix" with someone that is not qualified like her, could give me worse result. At first, she brush all down my natural eyebrow to make it looks very bad for her before and after pic. It would make her pic looks great. She started the process, then stop to give me to sign an authorization form while I was laying down (red flag). Then without measure, she draw a line how it will look. I said right the way that was a no to me, way to thick. She explained that it seemed tick however would be thinner after. I trusted in her process believing that she knew what she was doing. Big mistake! She finished, I was not happy when I saw the results. She said that it needs time to heal, than it would look very nice. Next few days, I notice that one eyebrow, besides way thicker than other. Left was higher, the other lower and missing spots. I tried to contact her and she had that attitude saying that has nothing that could do. I had to wait to heal. She also post my pictures in social media without my consent. The time passed, it got worse. This person got an attorney to try to intimidate me into removing my good-faith review. I am being asked to take this down (which I can't even do, because Yelp won't let you) and that is how my images will be removed. I don't see how the status of my good-faith review should have any bearing on images being taken down that don't belong up in the first place. The facts remain unchanged: - She breached my privacy, by publicizing a private matter I was attempting to resolve privately. - She further breached my privacy, by using an image of my face she has no release for. - She violated copyright law, by using an image I took and am the sole copyright owner to. - She defamed me (and continues to do so) by continuing to post about me, speaking ill (and falsely) of me on social media, adding my full name and tagging my business. - She attempted to extort me into removing this very review, by holding the illegally used images hostage. - She threatened libel, saying she would review my business negatively as retribution. - She committed credit card fraud, my storing my credit card information without my knowledge or consent, and then charging it on my behalf. I decided to bite the bullet and go in for microblading earlier this year. Now that I have completed my second (follow-up) appointment a month ago, bringing the process full-circle, I can say with confidence that this is one of the better aesthetic decisions I have made. My brows used to be beautiful but unfortunately, I had one too many negative experiences with brow artists (using the term loosely) who were out of their depth when it came to my specific brow type - slightly unruly, with longer hairs. Their inclination had been to bust out the scissors, leaving me with a bald patch on my right brow, below the arch. The last few years had seen me spending countless hours and dollars on products to perfect, tame, and fill my brows. After a visit to my hairdresser where I was *thisclose*to getting bangs, I was recommended to Yonnie's business. It took me a lot of soul searching (sounds corny, I know) before booking the appointment. I was scared off by the cost as well as the time commitment and aftercare required. The first appointment, I was there for almost three hours. Yonnie took time to draw my brows, discuss what I was looking for, and put my concerns at ease. I ended up getting a combination of nano brows and microblading - machine and manual hair strokes. This was slightly pricier than microblading alone, but well worth it for my specific circumstance as I wanted a more natural look. I had microblading done 5 years ago while I was in CA but pigment didn't take because of my oily skin. I love super natural look with hair strokes as I don't wear makeup most of the time. I was looking to get a microblading touch up since I wasn't happy with the last place I had gone to. A little over a year ago was my first time getting microblading done. I went to a place my friend had suggested but was not happy with the results, which is why I looked to try some place different. I read through Yelp reviews and decided to contact Yonnie since I figured with her being Asian, it would make her more aware of what's needed for a fellow Asian. I asked her if I could get a touch up or would have to be considered as a first time appointment since my last microblading session barely did anything. She asked for a picture and said I could just book a touch up. When I got to my appointment, I explained to Yonnie how my appointment last year left my brows with a reddish tint and most of the ink didn't even stay. Yonnie told me what pigments she'd blend together to avoid that reddish tint. She went through the whole process with me again, explaining to me what she'd be doing. After outlining my brows, she gave me a mirror so I could approve of the outline before she began the actual "tattooing." After she was done, she told me she'd email me details on the after care (which she did immediately). I was super happy with how my brows looked after the first session. She did more passes than on my first appointment a year ago (with a different studio) which helped a lot. After the first month passed, I did lose the ends and insides of my brows. During the touch up appointment Yonnie told me to change up the aftercare a little so I wouldn't lose the ends. Since I have oily skin, she told me to use blotter paper on days 5 through 12 which made a massive difference. I'm so happy she knows that every person has different skin types and tailors the aftercare accordingly. I also bled a good amount during the process which is why she wanted me to use the aftercare cream for a few days so I wouldn't scab too much and lose pigment that way.
