Everything was explained clearly every step of the way and the entire place is VERY clean and all safety protocols are followed to the letter. When I arrived for my appt there wasn't anyone at the desk. I stood there waiting for 5 mins or longer before she came in from outside. The lash tech was not friendly at all and barely spoke 5 words. I ask for natural lashes that flared toward the end. I ended up with the longest uneven fake looking set. I was so disappointed and embarrassed. She didn't talk about after care she pretty much was like thanks have a good day. I left so embarrassed that I stopped and bought scissors to get to cut them down. Would not recommend! I had the most wonderful experience here on Monday with Kiara Lynn, the receptionist and master stylist, Ana S. My lashes look fabulous! Ana did a phenomenal job! Kiara Lynn was so helpful and accommodating in getting me a last minute appointment due to a horrible experience at another location leaving me high and dry looking like a rag doll. I will only be receiving services at the Lincoln Park/Ranch Triangle location going forward despite it being much further from me. I absolutely love this location. Not only does having a membership with them make things so convenient for me, but the ease of making an appointment when I need it without any hassle is definitely a big one for me. As far as the lash artists, master stylist Izabella is a game-changer when it comes to my lashes. I have been getting lash extensions for a little over a year now but with Izabella's expertise, we finally found the style and length that fits my eye shape so perfectly. Most importantly, since getting my lashes done with Izabella, the lash extension retention has been so great! I don't know what she does different from any other lash artist I have gone to, but she literally has a magic touch and I have never been more satisfied with my lash extensions. I have gone between the Fairview and McKinney locations, and I am SO done! They can't keep good technicians, and when I've gotten attached to one, she'll leave in about a month or so, and the worse thing...I don't get a heads up, so I show up to get my lashes done, and there's a new lady there to do them. Most technicians there use way too much glue. And to cancel the monthly subscription, you have to go INTO the studio to sign the documents...yes, in 2022. Arrrggghhhh!!!! read more

I have been there on 2 different occasions, once with a student another time with an "expert" both times little consultation was done and no eyelash prep. Both times lashes lasted barely 2 weeks...what a waste of time and money. They tell you lashes only last 2 weeks after your appointment, which I though was odd since Ive been to other salons in the past where they have lasted longer, up to a month. I just wanted to get out of my contract ASAP. Appointments were easy to obtain so that's why I gave them 2 stars. otherwise the quality of work is poor. It felt as though they want the lashes to fall out. Again, no prep before my lashes were applied and no care tips after. I went to this studio twice, once for a full set and the second for a 30 minute touch up. The 30 minute touch up was a mess. So much so that the salon I had to pay to fix it (aka detangle and pull out my lashes) said I should never go to whoever did this to my lashes again. Each false lash was glued on multiple lashes with thick clumps of glue. They were sideways and it was literally a mess to look at and impossible and painful to try to maintain. I was such a fan of here after my 1st visit but after my 2nd horrible experience, I will never try to use a cheap lash studio again. You get what you pay for, I suppose. Lashes barely lasted! Installation was precise, clean and the esthetician handled me with care. However the day of my installation I was already losing lashes and I wasn't even touching my eyes. It's been last than a week and I've lost at least 40% of my lashes on my right eye and 25% on my left. For some reason the right eye is shedding more. My guess is that amazing lash may have once been a great place to get your lashes done but due to production shortage they're using different products. I wish I could give more stars for the esthetician but the product is just too bad. All I know is that I won't waste my money again. It's pretty frustrating. read more

Lashes are a very very delicate business. I have been a patron of this location for over a year now. I had looked in to a few places only to feel dismayed by the exorbitant prices and claims. I had read all the reviews (good and bad) regarding Amazing Lash Studio. The prices were in alignment with my price range and in my area. My experience within the last year has always been of high quality along with high level of service. My lashes have always looked beautiful and even with some minor mishaps, Jeff and the staff have always taken care of me. I have learned that my lashes last longer during some periods of the year. This is due to weather (hot and humid) and cold (lashes loved the weather). However, Jeff and my stylist Nanda are always trained to explain what is happening or what I may be doing to allow an early fallout or if I am being too harsh. My job requires me to look professional and polished at all times. With that being said, I use the 6D in gorgeous. Never have I felt that my lashes looked too much or fake. The compliments along with my minimal makeup look allows for a lovely lift with the right payoff at my lash line. I look refreshed, awake and takes away from my bags due to lack of sleep. My advice to all new clients is too ask many questions regarding your lashes and treatment of them. It is crucial to understand that heat, humidity, your blow dryer, your ac and heater, washing your face, makeup remover, skin care routine and use of touch by your hands, can all play into effect. Oh! And sleeping. I sleep on my side and my eyes are in my pillow. Some will fall off due to this. Previously I worked for years in the field of beauty, tv and media. Let me say, nothing lasts forever. Two weeks? Yes they do. If not, I use my refill credit and I head back in. I expected to spend around $200-300 for the services each month and that includes the tip and services. I save a lot more than the $5k I would spend with a competitor in less than 6 months. Overall, this establishment has earned my patronage, loyalty and I love my stylist Nanda. She's amazing! I booked for lash extensions on Sunday evening same day which I really appreciated since I couldn't get to the salon I usually go to for my lashes. They were friendly enough and the woman who did my lashes was nice although distracted by picking music on her phone and texting. I picked the gorgeous look and walked out of the salon happy. Fast forward to the next day and it seemed as if every time I blinked a lash would fall off. Now, 4 days later anmore than half the lashes are gone. I get lashes fairly regularly and this has nevered happened before. I'm very disappointed because I was hoping this could be my go to spot. Update: I went back for the complimentary fix due to fall out. Again, very happy when I left - looked even better than the first time. I even made an appointment for a fill two weeks later. Fast forward 8 days later and I called to cancel my appointment because yet again, fall out was more than I had experienced elsewhere. So, while it's inexpensive and they take last minute appointments, it actually ends up costing more because of the need to go to more than an every two week fill in to maintain the look. The people who work there are great; polite and friendly and I've read that some people have had and continue to have great experiences there - that's just not my personal experience was. read more

This was the worst experience I have had with eye lash extension. The technician was inexperienced. My eye lashes loomed as if I had long wings attached to my lids. The ends were raggedy and see thru. I color or shape did not match my skin color. I did return for another technician to try to correct them. This tech only made them darker and more ragged on the ends. The suggestion was they remove them at no cost, but I pay for another full set. So with a 7 day period I have dedicated 5 hours of my time and spend $275 to receive the service and product that was advertised. Yes I did call to speak with the manager. I have been going to this salon for a little over a year now & this review is definitely over due. My lashes always look flawless and last about 2- 3 weeks with proper cleaning/after care.I am often asked if my lashes are real & regularly get compliments on them, which is why I keep coming back! I usually see Lucy (shes the BEST!!), but all the girls that work here are so sweet and every stylist I have had has done an amazing job. I recommend this place to people whenever I can. I see a lot of negative reviews about the salon not working with people, but in my experience, the few times there have been any mistakes or issues, they work with you to fix it immediately. For example, I did have an issue with significant fall out on one eye (mind you, this was the first time that happened in a year of getting them done) a day after getting the set. I was able to get in the next day for a touch up, free of charge! I also got booked for a refill instead of a full set and my stylist did not have the time available so I had to reschedule after arriving to the salon. I honestly think this was one of the worst lash lifts I have ever received. It's not Lucy's fault, she did the application properly. The chemical is just not good. I literally left looking as if I just put clear mascara used in my childhood. Also they do not do any tinting. This is usually a crucial step for blonde lashes BUT as a franchise, they can only use items corporate says they can use. I had such a good experience! My eyelashes are pretty healthy, but super short. :( My eyes are huge so it makes my lashes look nearly non existent. My lash technician Tierra was awesome! She made sure I was comfortable since the process for a full set of lashes can take anywhere between Hour and a half to two hours. I pretty much fell asleep the whole time. Lol. When she was done I was so happy to see what a big difference they make. You seriously don't even need to wear eye makeup. Your eyes will be popping all on there own. Today was my last straw with this studio. I am done. My lashes look horrible. The hours are very convenient and because of that I really wanted to like it even after several subpar jobs. I feel like "You get what you pay for" would fit but this salon isn't necessarily cheap...it's just not good. I came in for a touch up and b/c I had been there several times the stylist said I didn't need to explain b/c they keep record. Mirroring several other reviews there was no consultation and not a single question asked even though she'd never seen me before. It would have taken 20 seconds for her to briefly confirm we were on the same page. She didn't. Apparently they forgot to update my guest card I get D curls every time I come in and she filled my lashes with the WRONG curl pattern. When she finished I looked at them from a few feet away and while they didn't look great I wasn't overly upset and she stated she was running behind so I left. But when I got home and looked in the mirror up close I was horrified. When I turn to the side you can clearly see the difference in curl and it screams fake! There were also several oddly placed lashes. Some were turned in and both outer corners were drooping. I called and explained what happened. The only positive of my experience was the front desk woman (Meena?) Very sweet and she let me vent a bit and was understanding. I was told I could either wait two weeks and walk around looking crazy (because they couldn't take off the poorly done lashes without redoing all of them) or I could pay $100 to fix THE STYLIST MISTAKE after already paying to have them filled...Wtf? This is by far one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I got my lashes done here and they started falling out hours after my appointment(both the synthetic and my natural lashes). I'm assuming it is because of the heavy clumps of glue stuck between the lashes. I can't even brush my lashes because the brush gets caught in the glue clumps. I called back less than a week later and informed the woman of what happened and asked what they would be able to do about an issue with quality. She said they could schedule me a 30 minute touchup to fix the problem and I agreed to schedule that appointment. There was no discussion of me being charged for this. I came in and waited 10 minutes to check in because the woman who was checking out after her service was discussing a billing issue due to information not being shared with her at the time she booked her appointment. Once she left, I asked the woman at the front desk to look up my appointment since there seemed to be other miscommunications happening. She then tells me they would need to charge me for this service because I didn't schedule the touchup within 3 days of my original service. I explained to her that I wasn't told any of this during my first appointment or during the phone conversation I had regarding the quality of their work. I told her that I needed to cancel because I wasn't going to pay them again for a low quality service they performed the first time. A week later I was checking my bank statement and they charged me for the appointment. I called back and spoke to Beth. I told her my situation and after placing me on a long hold, she said that I was a no-show and that's why my card was charged. I told her that was a lie and that she could check their security cameras because I did show for the touchup. She then tells me I'm wrong and that there were "notes" on my account saying the woman told me the price I'd be charged and about the 3-day rule. I then explained to Beth that I wouldn't drive 20 minutes to their location on a Saturday if I knew I'd be charged for them fixing the problem they created. After that the only thing Beth was able to say was that they would not refund me the money they charged to my card. I told her to leave note for her manager and ended the conversation. It was infuriating having someone lie to me twice to try and blame this encounter on me. I will NEVER return to this place and will never refer any of my friends here. So many lies from this place. I wanted to like this place so bad. I had a few events/weddings in the next few months, so I thought I'd cut down on makeup time and look my best with some eyelash extensions. I did tons of research and found that Amazing Lash had lower prices compared to other places in the city, and mostly positive reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, you get what you pay for. My first application was great! My eyelashes looked and felt perfect. I have had extensions in the past, so I know how to take care of them. I avoided water for 48 hours and slept on my back, avoided heat/steam, brushed and cleaned them regularly, etc. They looked great even after 2 weeks and a few days, when I decided to go in for a fill. The fill looked great as well, at first. After one week, I woke up and had major gaps on my right eye. My left was fine, but my right eye was noticeably less full and had big gaps where there were no lashes at all. Because I had plans the upcoming weekend, I decided to go in for a mini fill, which they offer for $40. After the mini fill, they looked *okay* but not as though I had just had them filled; there were still several gaps. Also, the lashes were sort of pointing in all directions and not laying properly like they were after my first application. Less than 48 hours after the mini fill, I again had huge gaps and major fallout. I hadn't even showered since the mini fill or been exposed to any steam or anything like that. I have a wedding next weekend, and had a fill scheduled for next week, but I decided to cancel it and cancel my membership because I'm not confident that Amazing Lash will actually make my extensions look their best. For such an expensive service, I hoped for higher quality. Do not waste your money here. Take it elsewhere, invest a little more, and get a set of lashes that last. I scheduled a 2pm appointment for today, with the owner earlier this week. Rushed from work to get here and prepared to be there for 1hour 45mins for my appointment, like I was told. Apparently there was a 'miscommunication' when booking my appointment, and I was not scheduled for enough time to remove prior lashes I mentioned having. I laid down, was told to wait only to find out I was not able to be seen and no service would be rendered. I had to drive back another 30 minutes for nothing. (Super disappointed as I have a friends birthday tonight!). Anyway, the salon staff apologized, made it seem like I was going to be compensated or receive some sort of discount for the inconvenience and would have the owner contact me. They asked me to reschedule and I said I would wait for her call me instead and book later. I waited for the owner to call me. Missed her call, since it was a private "no caller id, I could not call back. She left me a voicemail and said she would call me back in 45mins. Almost 2 1/2hours later, no call. I decided to call the salon, was placed on hold and hung up on. Called again, they tried to place me on hold again,I had to say "no" & why I was calling. They asked if the owner offered me anything, I said no and was told she would call me back. Finally! a call..and it was disappointing. Apparently this was my fault for not being specific, no accommodations were made for the inconvenience (like I was led to believe when I was at the salon). Basically a TERRIBLE first experience, a lot of back and forth/waiting around and nothing that could be done for me apparently, except rescheduling and doing it all over again. Love getting my lashes here! Everyone is so nice and easy to work with. They are always helping me get scheduled when I need to be and I always come out looking like a diva. If ever, you have an issue, they are also so kind. One of my eyes' lashes were just not as full as my most recent visit, and they scheduled me for a correction to get it fixed. Free of charge - as long as it's 3 days after you get them done. I don't have a "usual" girl I go to, in fact, I have a few and they are all awesome. Amanda, Desiree, Megan, Lucy, and Jessica! The prices are a bit high to most, but it's so worth it! I am not good at fake lashes that you glue on yourself and this honestly was my saving grace and my monthly "ME" day. I have given this place a try for about a month and a half now -- am even a member for the pricing -- and so far I have had consistent issues with MAJOR fallout after about a week that none of my friends have. I have to go every two weeks and even that's not enough. I follow all their instructions -- my current problem is obvious fallout in one eye over another. My last stylist was texting and listening to music and had to majorly rush this last eye during my last fill. I've tried to call and get a new appointment but no one will call me back, I didn't know about their 3 day policy until I stumbled upon yelp. The actual lash lift service I received was good, not great. The service, though, is the reason why I will not return here. I was misled with the pricing on my first appointment. I specifically asked what the charge would be and was told "$89." When I checked out, the charge was $119 because "they booked me with a master stylist," which I did not request, and was NOT told that it would be $30 extra.
