I have been contemplating writing this review for a couple months, only because I am a bit selfish and don't want her book to fill up! I first went to see Jennifer after visiting several 'Esthetician's' to find the perfect one to groom my face for my wedding in November. I was stressing big time, I couldn't find anyone who could really transform my skin and I became convinced it's probably just me. I was going through yelp one day thinking that I need to give this another go. Jennifer returned in my search and I saw her great reviews, I figured, why not. I called her and she was able to get me in right away. Upon meeting her, you are blown away at her beauty and at that point, I was convinced. If she can maintain that look then I am sure she can bring my skin from drab to fab! You know what I am talking about ladies, if you want a mullet you'll go see a hair stylist who sports one, just like if you want fab skin, you'll see an esthetician that sports fab skin. Then it started, she won me over immediately with her no-nonsense attitude towards skin, I mean if your looking for a facial that includes a dark room with candles, music of the far east and a shoulder rub, don't go to Jennifer. She is the true meaning of an esthetician, her room is cozy & comfortable but it doesn't have the feeling you get from the 'esthetician' at a spa who care more about the jasmine oil burning then your skin. She cares about skin and wants to transform it, her passion is truly evident in her work. With that being said, I think I have gone to Jennifer at least once a month since our first meeting. She introduced me to dermaplaning, light chemical peels, and most of all truly amazing skin! I told her that she should start taking before and after pictures, I mean the change is very evident. I look like me with a more even skin tone, smaller pores and just healthy looking skin. She makes it easy too, with very low prices and constant specials. She has become my go-to girl and is even going to do my makeup on the big day! Before I started seeing Jennifer I had terrible cystic acne on my cheeks and more mild and scattered acne around my chin. I started seeing her last December in hopes to have a fresh face for my March wedding. By March my face was flawless and my wedding photos were perfect. I went in for the summer special facial which has enzyme treatment, microdermabrasion, extractions (if needed), etc. Everything was fine except for the extractions. The next day my face was full of scabs and on coming scars. My skin was looking worse days after then when I came in. I texted Mary (lady who did the service) like she said to if I had any questions. I was even more upset because i have an event coming up and I don't want to look horrible. I told her that I had gotten extractions in the past form dermatologists and they never ended up with me having scars on my skin. She asked for pictures which I sent , and at the end she just said "It's unfortunate that you were unhappy with the service!" When I read the reviews about Jennifer about one year ago I knew I had to check her out. Every where you go online you see her amazing reviews.. and it is for GOOD reason! She is exceptional and worth the wait in getting an appointment (you have to book a few weeks ahead). Once you become a member of her "club" you get discounts on her products and her services. I try and go once per month. I never knew what dermaplaning was and it's a really great thing. You should definitely try it. I had acne when I was younger and have some scars from it and in general have never felt the best about my skin. After seeing Jennifer about 8 times last year I have found my skin to look SO much better. Jennifer will ask you questions about your make-up and face care and she's super realistic. When I explained I've been wearing mac for years many would probably think she would tell me to stop wearing that because it is heavier. However since we've found it doesn't irritate my skin it's A OK with her. It's those type of personalized conversations she has with you on each visit that help the process to go faster. She also sells skin care products that work so well. The facial cleanser (milk one) is amazing and I try and use my "Jennifer in a bottle" acid almost every night. I am 27 and serious about preventing aging and I think going to Jennifer is a great way to keep that goal on track. She's also very sweet and wonderful to talk to. I leave Jennifer with better skin and a better peace of mind with whatever is going on in my life. She doesn't charge for that service but she probably should. :) I usually get the mix of a facial, extraction, dermaplane then microderm and top it all off with a cherry.. no actually you get a chemical peel at the end. About 5 days later you'll have lost the top layer of skin and you will look absolutely fabulous darling. You look great the next day too but after you peel is when you really see it. It's a hard hitting combo that works. She's also a great person to talk to about filler and botox although she doesn't do that herself. Her recommendation for botox is awesome although I haven't gotten it yet if I do I would only go to her. Her name is April. Totally awesome experience and the only person I'll ever go to for my skin. As a woman with Asian and Mediterranean skin, I have to be extremely cautious with regard to skincare treatments. I can't simply trust anyone who is a self-proclaimed expert in "ethnic skin." Thus, I would always wait until I went back to New York City to see my usual Japanese and Chinese aestheticians, whom I know are capable of working with olive and yellow skin. However, since moving to the desert, my skin has spiraled out of control and I was in desperate need of help just before my wedding. Jennifer is very professional and her knowledge and opinions about skin care are the best I've heard. I've spoken with several dermatologist doctors about skin issues. If you do the same, you'll realize medical practice does not fully understand how acne works or know how to treat it. It is very opinion based. One may say benzyl while another tells you benzyl is trash and prescribe Clindamycin Phosphate. One doctor said sugar does not cause acne through her studies, but she tells me she will get a pimple if she eats too much chocolate (sugar). I will not begin to compare her to other dermatologists in the area (ie Mill Ave) because I don't even want to put Jennifer on that level. They may have done more harm than good with their acne facials. Listen to Jennifer. She has answers to what the doctors could not answer. She makes sense and is confident with her practice. Jennifer can be a little pricey with her products but you get what you pay for. read more

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO MY REVIEW : this will be the best and real review ever : alright so I had an AWESOME time getting a facial here. But be warned the microdermabrasion is crystal and not diamond tip and that may not seem like anything interesting to anyone but honestly I could use a scrub paste and do the same to My skin. The lady told me to Close my eyes because the crystals could get in my eyes. It was absolutely ridiculous those random plastic beads went everywhere and she legit told me " this is just For exfoliation " it does not suck anything out of your skin in any way and is a complete waste of money. What isn't a waste of money is the awesome service. Mary took things out of my pores during the extractions and even tho I didn't have acne she literally gets EVERYTHING out ! Best ever ! And then she recommended a light to medium peel which I have to say is AMAZING ! The advice was so great and the peel and extractions were sooooo top notch. Here's the other part tho .... I bought the face wash and said I want it to specifically remove my eye makeup because she said I shouldn't use oil anymore due to My age and the fact that it clogs my pores * which I agree * but the face wash didn't deliver ... it didn't wash my makeup off ... it was crap. Mary is the best at microblading! I searched for weeks to find the right person to do my eyebrows. It was my first time doing a procedure like this and I really took my time researching. Mary was terrific. She explained the procedure to me in detail and showed me her work as she went. Wow! Is this place great! I was traveling in Phoenix and decided to treat myself and get a facial. Since I didn't know any places I checked out Yelp and found Celebrity Skin. Mary Fernandez is amazing! She really knows her stuff. I've had facials in the past but, but she is the first who really laid out exactly what she was doing, why, and how it would help my skin. I got the microdermabrasion facial with the chemical peel. My first time doing a peel so I was a little nervous, but in the hands of Mary, I felt confident that she would take care of me, and she did! Her studio is small, and she only works by appointment, but it is very clean, warm and welcoming. The treatment she did for me was soothing and very relaxing. I asked her to explain what she was doing as my cousin, who came with me had never had a facial before and was curious. As Mary went through the steps, she was very patient with our questions and extremely knowledgeable and professional. You can tell she knows exactly how to treat problem skin. As this was my first time getting a chemical peel, she asked me frequently how my skin was feeling, (tingly, warm, or burning). It was all three but not in a bad way, I could feel that the peels were working. Afterwards she did a combination cooling lotions and that felt really good too. She told me what to expect and what to do the remainder of this Treatment Day and what to do for the remainder of the week. I noticed right away that the texture of my skin was very soft, smooth, and even.She also gave me a written sheet of instructions on what to do and what not to do, which is very helpful. After the treatment and for the rest of that day I felt like I had a light sunburn, indeed, my skin looked pinkish red, it was tighter, but not itchy as she said might happen. I purchased the Cooling Gel at her little shop there, and it is key. She has a bunch of different products but didn't push any of them on us. Actually she explained different products to us like the Hyaluronic Acid I had it home but had never used. I used the Cooling Gel all of Day One, didn't wear any makeup and was extremely careful as to not rub the skin with a washcloth when I very gently cleansed it. My skin was still pinky-red, and felt dry on Day 1 and 2. That also could have been the 111 degree Phoenix heat! But I slathered on the cooling gel and the heat instantly went away. Today on Day 2 my skin feels so good. I may not even need the cooling gel, but will probably put it on anyway. Sorry for the long post but I thought it was good to relay my wonderful experience. After seeing her now for several months, the texture and evenness of my skin has drastically improved. I'm 34 and started to notice my skin not looking fresh and tight as it used to. I have stubborn pigment due to my skin tone and within a couple of treatments my dark spots reduced significantly.
