I was recommended to Dr. H by a friend, so I went t online and was able to book an appt for the next day. Dr. Hayes met with me and took the time to listen and dig in to my records. He followed up several times when I alerted him I was feeling worse. He took the time to attempt to recover some recent blood work I had done with another doctor and a chest X-ray I had at Urgent Care a month or so prior. He reviewed all and determined the PA at Urgent Care misdiagnosed my symptoms. He put me on correct meds and within a few days, I started feeling better. He told me to come back a few days later, but I had a commitment already at the time he suggested, so he told me to just come in when it's good for me and he would squeeze me in. The examination itself was limited to vital signs. Dr. Szabo then indicated that she would return shortly, but instead a nurse entered the room. I asked the nurse whether Dr. Szabo could return to address my remaining questions, and the nurse stated that she would locate her. After waiting an additional 30 minutes without an update, we left the examination room and observed Dr. Szabo at her workstation. When the nurse again attempted to check whether Dr. Szabo was available, Dr. Szabo screamed/responded harshly that I "was supposed to leave 30 minutes ago." At that point, my remaining questions had still not been addressed, and I left the office without receiving the consultation expected from the visit. Including commute time, the appointment required nearly two hours and concluded without resolution of my medical concerns.

I had to get my primary care physician to refer me (I have an HMO) but after that, it was smooth sailing. The receptionist is very helpful, on-top-of-things, and friendly. Dr. Roque was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable about all the potential troubles I might face in Peru. I was truly amazed at his breadth of knowledge and his willingness to sit down for 20 or 30 minutes and explain everything to me. I have to go back because my primary care physician wrote the referral incorrectly and I'm actually looking forward to it! This place is the best!
