I attempted to order some flower arrangements for a special birthday party. I was interested in ordering a centerpiece for a dining room table, a fireplace spray and a doorway entry arrangement. I needed them for the 25th of August. Since it is on a Sunday I was told there could be no delivery on Sunday's. The person seemed in a hurry and just said "okay?" She never suggested they could be done the day before and the flowers would still be fresh the next day. I asked if she would recommend another place and she could not and then said anyone else could do it as it is a small island. I called this business as it is just a couple of minutes from the venue. It is less than 1/2 a mile. I never even was awarded a minute to explain what I needed. Apparently my request was too small and not a full wedding I suppose. I called another florist, Russells florist, six miles away that accommodated me. I am disappointed in the treatment as I have friends and family in Pigeon Cove, Rockport and Gloucester near the florist. I was looking forward to doing business now and in the future. I have read the rave views and sorry I could not fit the bill in doing business with Celia's Flower Studio. I received a reply. Apology accepted. I will try again and perhaps be more clear in my requests. Thank you Celia for your response. read more

I recently had my wedding at Danversport Yacht Club. Celia is amazing at what she does. I wasn't sure what I wanted for flowers when I went into my appointment with her. I told her what color theme I had and she was able to help me decide what would look best. I left the appointment so excited! Celia has an energetic personal sparkle, and is a true artist with flowers. When I first met with Celia, I booked with her because right away she seemed to 'get' my vision, even though I had trouble articulating it. Without a lot of direction from me (2 face-to-face meetings in all), she created a bouquet that is one of loveliest things I have ever held in my hands, and beautiful arrangements that enhanced the ceremony and reception space without seeming overbearing or too sparse. I have many, many wonderful memories of my wedding day and honestly, one of the things I remember most is how I could not take my eyes off of that bouquet. In fact, the only disappointment in heading to our honeymoon was not being able to enjoy the flowers longer.
