I really liked the Rose and our entire party made sure we didn't leave there without a few bottles. The cheese board or what they call, the Provisions board came in two parts and was outstanding. Big board came with fantastic cheeses, crackers and the dried figs were to die for. The 2nd part was filled with almonds, hazel nuts and huge green olives. I am looking forward to my return with my friend to cash in on the club members complimentary tastings for 4 guests/month.

The dusky goose got its name from the owners love for hunting the now protected dusky goose. This was the first tasting where each of the four pours were in front of you. Usually it's one by one. The property itself is stunning and they have a fantastic patio and inside area. Upon check in we were escorted inside the cave where a few tables and couches were waiting for us. We paired the food with our wine for little bites. We tried 5 different Pinot noirs from different areas on the property. They have indoor and outdoor seating with some of the outdoor seating covered and some completely open. We sat inside. The tasting experiences here are great. We've done the cave tour which was amazing and this time we chose the tasting room. I find their wines very enjoyable. They focus on Pinot Noir, but have other varietals as well which I really enjoyed their Chardonnay. After our tasting we upgraded our club membership as we really enjoy the quality wines that they are producing. We joined before they got recognition from major wine publications and they continue to impress me. The service is great as well. The hosts were knowledgeable and really wanted you to enjoy the experience. I certainly recommend stopping into Archery Summit.

Coeur de Terre Vineyard was a nice surprise. We had never heard about this winery nor did we plan…read moreto visit this space while in the Willamette Valley; but fortunately, we randomly found out about it and were so glad to check it out on a Sunday afternoon. There are so many different wineries around the Willamette Valley, so it's difficult to choose where to go. And of course, the most popular ones will likely be booked up. But my partner found Coeur de Terre and made a reservation for us to visit this winery in the late afternoon, which ended up being a delightful experience. The vineyard is located far from the city, up on a hill, surrounded by other vineyards and orchards. Just the setting itself is worth visiting. The winery with its own vineyard is spacious, with a large, open building that's open for the public. However, where you want to sit is outside on the patio, which overlooks the hills and vineyard. We had a reservation for 4PM on a Sunday, which was the last hour before closing. We tried six different wines: a chardonnay, pinot gris, rose, syrah and two pinot noirs. Now, we came to Oregon wine country because we wanted to explore pinot noirs, which is king in this part of the country. And I can say that the pinot noirs at Coeur de Terre were solid. I normally would not choose a pinot noir, but Coeur de Terre made me a believer. They grow all of their grapes here at the vineyard, and what I liked most about the pinot noirs is that they were more robust than other pinot noirs I've had. I like my reds more bold and heavy, and these pinot noirs were heavier. We had a wonderful experience here, exploring the pinot noirs and taking in the views and setting. The employee who helped us out was friendly, too. I recommend visiting if you're in the area. Tasting is $25 per person, and is waived with a $75 bottle purchase per person.

They had a great white pinot that they were featuring, which I've never had. Very good. All their wines are excellent and very accessible price points. Very nice property with a great outdoor space and lots of parking. Service is friendly and welcoming, I mean it's a winery...so what's there to be upset about. Haha. They probably won't like me mentioning, but the pours are generous for tastings and they didn't mind giving extra tastes or a glass on the house if someone in our party didn't drink reds, full glass of pinot gris for my mom, nice! Will be back for more, this is a stand out in the area with so many amazing neighbor vineyards.
