I'm a little late on this but every time I pass by the store I remember of the horrible experience I had at cellular center on east mall. Years ago around 2015 or 2016 my mom bought me a gold galaxy s6 from there, I was in my sophomore year. Not even a day later my phone started to have software issues, freezing while on the load up screen so I went back and asked if they could diagnose the issue. The white guy with glasses that seats on the left as soon as you walk in said it's no problem I'll just uninstall the complete software and install it on the phone. This did not solve the issue( I don't even think you can download and install official software from the Samsung website) I kept having to go the store to have the software uninstalled and installed and mind you this took hours and all my data in that phone was always deleted so I would have start from scratch. During the this whole process the guy with glasses ( yes he still works there) was starting to get annoyed that he question me what I do with my phone and then he had the nerve to accuse me of visiting adult websites and that I must've contracted a virus on those websites which I did not visit those websites. I got pretty upset about that accusation that I asked for my money back but he refused and said that's it's my fault now, we threatened to sue them and he immediately changed his mind said he had another s6 that we can switch out. I did not want to lose the $500+ that we spent to buy that phone and end up without a phone and down 500 so I agreed to it. It was no where near the condition of the gold s6 and the personal information, pictures, data of the previous owner was still in that phone. I reset it the phone and it worked fine for a 2 months, I was on vacation and one morning I had a message on my Lock Screen saying it was locked and to have the phone returned to the nearest rent-a center. I went to the store and they told me that the white s6 phone has not been payed off and that I needed to return it as it was considered rent-a center property. So that means they got a phone that it was still under contract with rent-a center, sold it to me and then refused to reimburse me after it was locked out. The guy with glasses started deny that phone even came from them and cops had to be involved. A police report had to be made and the cops themselves said that there are multiple reports of stole phones being sold from cellular center. So in the end I ended up without a phone and lost $500 I hope the guy with glasses see this, I don't know if he's the owner or manager but I'm never forgetting the horrible, embarrassing experience that I had with you guys. read more
